That lighthouse spot is a very good for tog spot in the fall, limited out within 30 min just pitching out the jig a couple feet off the rocks into like 6 feet of water to some rocks lol

Get on one of the party boats in point Pleasant tuna fishing is hot right now! Jigs n bait! The voyager & big Jamaica are limiting out last few trips. That would make a great video.
Went out of Brielle, NJ on a party boat two days ago with a buddy. We were catching micro seabass and nonstop spiny dogfish and the day was really sucking. Last stop, I managed a 15" porgy and my buddy pulled in a 5 lb. seabass (bigger than the one in this video). I had only seen 3 keeper seabass caught all day (including his). He won the pool and the $140. You never know. He caught it on a 5 hook rig I rig I had given him that he joking called a christmas tree when he tied it on since it had green beads and red beads near the hooks (cheapo ordered direct from China online) with a tiny piece of clam. I kept telling him to use a bigger bait, but like your surprise with the bergall as bait, the big one nailed it. Again you never know.

I use foam pipe insulation buy some lengths cheap from HD , helps protect the blank from the tailgate i use this on my surfrods.
