Nice tour around Makati and great look at some apartments. Some of those views are awesome. Looking forward to my visit in around 6 weeks time. Thanks for sharing with us :)
Eton Parkplace are loft apartments. The bedroom is upstairs. The. loft is kind of dangerous because you can fall from loft if you are not carefull. I prefer the apartment next door which is the KL Towers. Good security, free parking, friendly staff. Across the street are 2 parks, the Washington Sycip park & Legaspi park. Block and a half to greenbelt mall which has the Rustan’s supermarket. The staff from this supermarket can push your shopping cart all the way to your apartment nearby for a little tip.
Juan Porontong, yes - I also do not like 2 floor apartments. KL Tower is great, but a bit run down. See my link for an even more modern and clean apartment : www.airbnb.com/rooms/27492789 -Nils
Oh man, the dirt on the windows is from the smog coming down in the rain. Last time I saw something like that was in Los Angeles. Cars get covered with it.
I toured Jazz Residence last April and I liked that place. I was shown the model units in their leasing office. The studio was on the small side, but the one-bedroom proved desirable. The main level impressed me tremendously. There are medical offices, a Starbucks (under construction), a gym, Viking Restaurant and SM Supermarket.
I don't recall the sqm of the unit. They would not allow me to video the model units. Overall, it's a nice place. I intend to return for a followup visit in April 2018.
Thank you for these videos always nice and very informative. We stayed at Rockwell during the recent visit a few months ago and I am familiar with the area you are showing. I think Makati is a nice place not too far from there I believe it Burgos where the nightly BBQ and Live Band are playing really nice to just sit and have a cold one with good bbq. Thanks again and cheers from Los Angeles, CA
Thanks Nils, very nice and helpful video. Looking forward to your review of the Beaconsince it is on my short list of places to stay when I make my move to Makati.
I stumble upon your channel a week ago, I found it entertaining + informative. I'm less interested on dating a Filipina part, but I stay just for the entertainment value. 15Mb/s down, 1Mb/s up is NOT fast. Especially the upload which is important if you are doing any kind of technical work, uploading to the cloud, remote desktop etc. Maybe that is considered good in Manila but it's not very good by western standards. What about 4G speeds on Globe or Smart? I can get better speeds than that with 4G in Thailand. 15Mb/s down is adequate but I need a higher upload than 1Mb/s for the remote work that I do.
Sorry but stating the internet is really fast at the Jazz residences is wrong, the download you showed was 15 mbps but the upload speed is terrible at 1 mbps. But great video thank you
Michael, Manila does not really have a nice ocean side. The nearest decent beach is about 2 hours drive to Puerto Galera: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_Galera -Nils
Bob Bruce, 85% of Manila wastewater is collected in septic tanks. There are three (3) operating septage treatment plants in Metro Manila, with a combined capacity of around 1,700 cubic meters/day (serving around 440,000 households). The system needs some improvement. -Nils
AR: Septic tanks are common all over the PH. Problem is, they require drain fields. Instead of using a drain field, the waste stream is sent like grey water into the storm sewage system which flows by gravity to the nearest river or ocean. I hear they have a few token waste water treatment plants. But, waste water treatment plants require aeration basins and disbursement of the sludge over land (typically grass farming fields). The reclaimed water is then recycled for irrigation.
Wow - those sizes may be ok as a hotel room for short-term stays, but there's no way I'd want to live so cramped - there's no place for any personal belongings. I'd need at least 900 sq. ft., and preferably 1,200 or 1,300 sq. ft. for a place to live. What is the availability for 1-year lease on two bedroom/2 bath units of a decent size in Makati?
William Blaker, yes there are lots of 2 bedroom units in Makati. Typically the older apartments are larger than the newer ones. Just ask your real estate agent to show you want you are looking for, or go an Airbnb and look around. -Nils
More of the last girl in the video and also more of Makati. How much do these appartments cost? And what about the ban for foreigners on owning real-estate? I know that if it is an appartment building a certain % can be foreign-owned, but they might not tell you if that % has been reached already.

Asian Romance okay, i have listened to and watched your video 3 times and did not hear any audio description of the prices. I did see the pricing in your written description.
@@AsianRomance Oh, I thought there already was a 4th part. :p I was waiting for you to show us the hidden pathway from Jazz towards Ayala Mall/Legazpi. :p And did you talk about Burgos already? There was a Wagyu Beef restaurant somewhere up there in a shopping mall... other than that it looked just like the other malls, just smaller. Not so interesting if you're close to Greenbelt I think.) I did stay in one apt in Jazz Res and it was the best one I stayed in. But as you say, apart from the new and good shopping mall downstairs, there's not so much in the immediate vicinity from Jazz Residences. And you have to pay to swim even. (Or you had to be a permanent resident, I think. :|) Part 1 & 2 showed me that it's more to do outside if you live closer to Greenbelt. I agree with Makati feeling the safest with modern hospitals and cleaner and less poor surroundings. Hm..., too bad with Covid now, but later on I am thinking that I should try Makati again. Perhaps we can go and get some food together in Greenbelt when I'm there? You're still stuck in Taiwan with your girlfriend now? (Megan, right?)
@@AsianRomance Hm, btw. I was looking at places to stay in Cebu around the Ayala Mall yesterday... do you know or have you heard anything about the hospitals in Cebu? I've been to St Luke's in Manila, so I agree. It was good. Do they have any similarly good & safe hospital in Cebu?
I been in the Philippines 15 years and a real estate investor. You should mention in your video's not all the condos are the same inside. Some look very bad. The pool at Jazz is so big because it's one of the biggest with 4 towers and 1000's of condos. Also the condo's you have in this video are low end rentals. There are high end and middle also. I live in the Greenbelt area and seen just about every condo building in Makati. There are bad parts of Makati and dirty. The location of Jazz is not one the best areas.
Great tour, thanks. I tend to prefer less populated regions. Reekay has been hitting the smaller towns and beach resorts for about five years now, and had only one long-time GFE that lasted two years and he was paying her family. Despite great effort, that's not a good dating ROI. Admittedly, there are many bar-girls 24/7 and some costly mistresses for GFE, in the larger cities, but that can get old and/or expensive. Many succumb to marrying a pinay, an admission of defeat (not the "rock star" effect). The ROI on dating expense is just as important to calculate as the cost of apartments, etc.
If Pres. Duterte hasn't been giving you a tax break filming, airing, and narrating this, will inquire at their Embassy why not (kidding). But no kidding, you do more to spark interest in all things Philippines than just about anything, or anyone else, I've seen here on youtube. For your viewers info, however, keep in mind that traveling inter-island with AirAsia, they won't refund your ticket if canceling for health reasons, even canceling 2 wks early. And I had flight insurance to boot. So consider Cebu, or PhilAir, is my recommendation, most certainly when traveling to Palawan, Cebu, or Leyte. But after seeing this, get back to Makati, pronto, maybe swim if you have to . . .
Your microphone is way too close to your mouth and it's causing quite an irritation for those whom aren't hard of hearing as it picks up every bit of noise coming from your mouth including your lisp.
my friend I like your vids but please please please STOP SAYING "A" SO MUCH.....do you ever listen to your monolog? every other word out of your mouth is "a".....it gets very annoying listening to that especially when I am trying to learn about Makati....try and improve your sentences and lose the word "a" in your vocabulary which would be much more pleasurable for all to listen to....

Learnsuccessfultrading, ok. I will try to improve.

I guess he has speech disorder.
He can't get away from his " ah " or "a."
His voice is husky , makes viewers listeners feel sleepy and bored .
