I still have and still use my 1st generation iPod, but it's the 32GB one that was released in early 2008. It was only available for 6 months, I think? Then the 2nd generation was released. When I received it, I immediately bought a full clear cover for it and it rarely comes out. No outer speakers LOL! But that thing has gone everywhere with me!

Same😂😂😂😂 i remember my friend had a the 2g, and everyone started crowding him in 5th grade, like almost 80% of fourth and fifth looked at his phone, even the teachers that had a meteo Pcs, All i had was sliding phone, until i got the 4gen in 8th grade, ive been saving it! Now that im a senior, I can get a iphone 6s, but i give the money to my mom so she can pay it
+Santos Rios I never had any fancy cells phones when I was a teen until I got my env 2 lol! My first smart phone was an iPhone 4 in 2011 and it's been nothing but iPhones since then. I currently have a 6S+ and I'm paying off some bills so I can get a 7S+ lol
You should definitely do more of these retro reviews. It is really interesting to see how technology has evolved in such a short amount of time.

It was first released in September 2007 just a few months after the first iPhone came out.
This is the iPod I currently use.
I still have, and use my 1st Generation iPod touch.
You can upgrade those to "iOS 7" with whited00r.
I never want to use my ipod touch 1g but nose to update the latest version of ios

This was before apps were hyper addictive. Yet I damn enjoyed my iPod touch and thanks god I don't have a ruined prefrontal cortex like today's kids.

I have a 32Gb model. He has some errors in his description of its capabilities though. Has Bluetooth, but won't connect to my AirPods. I remember I paid $300 for this thing. the extra memory was REALLY expensive. I will never sell it because it is still a great video and music player for traveling and it is extremely small and light. Freaks people out when they see you using it. They look puzzled. :-)
I just pulled mine out of the closet. Haven't used it in many years. Cosmetically, its almost like new.. and works perfectly. I'll never part with it.
