One thing I've realized about some of my students and myself is trying to find a time to practice when we're already in the mindset of doing something. Like maybe after work before you kick back and relax try to bring out the instrument and practice even just for a little bit. Sometimes when I sit down at home after work I no longer have the will to be productive haha. So I need to be productive while I can otherwise it just won't get done

I completely agree. The video talks about treating practicing as a mandatory task every week, rather than something optional.

In China, online learning has become very common. The traditional one-on-one teaching method, where a master mentors an apprentice, often results in beginners or young children not necessarily learning the most scientific or accurate techniques due to the varying levels of teacher expertise. Now, through the convenience of online courses, students have the opportunity to learn from renowned teachers at the Central Conservatory of Music, using scientific methods and experienced teaching to help them avoid unnecessary detours. Of course, this also places higher demands on both children and parents. In summary, violin teaching is also evolving with the times, and it's important to adapt to these changes.

Muscle weakness in my back and arms makes practice challenging. It has been hard for me so I have been on and off with practice. I am 72. My why is that I need a creative outlet. I miss playing and the routine of the music world. 🥴😂

I’m 73 and back and shoulder pain limits my playing time. What I’m doing, assuming the muscles are weak, is working out in a gym five days a week. I can’t tell if it’s enough yet, but I seem to have less fatigue.
I don’t try to play more than 15 minutes, then I take a break and come back in five or ten after doing some streches. My violin instructor says “don’t try to play through the pain.”
      Regular massage therapy helps too.

Is this a title inspired by Molly Gebrian's new book Learn Faster, Perform Better ?

Why does my violin sound screechy when I use my fingers?

A lot of talking, a lot of your philosophies, almost no instruction. Talking about time, this is a big waste of it.
