The Camerawork and explanation of each step were very good! But the "music" made it difficult to hear you sometimes, and it really is distracting. Please leave off the music in any future videos. Thanks.
The easy way to get that connector unclipped from the fan shroud is to wait until the fan shroud has been unbolted from the radiator support, then push it towards the engine a bit. Reach into the fan shroud from the front and you will feel the back of the connector. Squeeze the back of the connector and it will come right out of the fan shroud.
I was going to ask the same. If anything I have used it to keep the gasket in place. The pad to use is the green one for cleaning on aluminum. Great video. Thanks for the tutorial.
@@OP-ik7qbit wont hurt to use a little bit but its not needed trust me if you do use you’ll have a hard time cleaning it afterwards if needed to replace in the future
Can a bad water pump cause my radiator to get hot I've replaced radiator thermostat temp sensor and my radiator gets real hot within 10 minutes starting thank you.
We watch these for accurate information. when you say you have changed enough water pumps that you don't need to torque does not help somone who has not changed one since the 70s. look it up and tell us. Also get rid of the music!!!!!! it does more harm than good. also you did not show the trans lines very well.
Thank you for the video, but reusing the coolant makes little sense unless it has recently been changed. Makes even less sense with dexcool, as it has been known to erode intake and or head gaskets.
You can still get the OEM delco pumps made in Canada with the real factory gasket but it is $80+ instead of $40 for the China delco pump. It just about got me until I read the reviews about the Chinese pumps. Those are called the Delco "professional" series. You have to check every damn thing now a days. Companies will do anything for a dollar....
How the Fuk did you get the fan and fan clutch and fan shroud out in one piece it took 3 of us laying under on top and over the engine to get that MF’r out and it was all we could possibly do even then to get it out and back in again .

Everyone knows not to use music, so when they do, it is a big FU to the audience.

You don’t need to put silicone on the gasket ?
Not needed at all

You don't need to remove the hose for the water, wasting time and energy
