I was almost rolling of my chair with laughter, until I read the comment section... I didn't know Rik Mayall died. This saddens me profoundly, why do the good ones always die too soon... May his soul rest in peace.
Saw this show in Llandudno with my Brother, when Rick said he could speak Welsh.. He read something out and everyone wet themselves except us, do not speak Welsh. Then Eddy comes out with ' I can speak Welsh ' Rick ' No you can't '... Eddy ' Yes I can ' Rick ' Proof it ' Eddy ' OK ' Eddy walks to the front of the stage and stops, looks around and says ' BAAAAHHHH!! ' Priceless the best comedy duo the world has ever seen.
Before Rik became well known he had a (tiny)bit part in the film 'American Werewolf in London'. However, before the film was released 'The Young Ones' started on TV. I went to the cinema to watch the film and the moment Rik appeared on the screen a loud spontaneous cheer went up from the audience. It was quite amazing to witness. 'Drop dead Fred' is one of my favourites.

It is indeed quite remarkable that i ever stumbled over this gem, since Rik n Ade are not very well known in my home country of Germany.
