I have mine outside in the rain and it’s still working fine
Hi, i can used up side down?
Does it need internet data connection? Or just hotspot file sharing like in phone without data consumption
Will I be able to connect to my mobile data when I leave my home
When you use the SD card, can you access those recordings remotely?? I have kasa light bulbs and outlets. Been wanting a camera but this odd question I can’t seem to find anywhere.
Yes, you can
@@allthingstech Thanks for confirming. This is huge to me. I have the Amazon Cloud Cam and its getting outdated a bit. Ill definitely get this camera.
Great video. Concise. 👌🏽
Execelent video thank you
My SD card stopped working after a while it says I need to subscribe. Is there any way to get around that?
Bluram camera has stupid ads you have to watch to use the camera for free. I like this Kasa cam so much better.
The micro SD discs are unreadable on mac computers. Format is supposed to be mac readable according to all documentation
I wants to know why you cannot share the kasa camera TV camera
can this be controlled on windows
Will this work with 5g wifi? Having trouble finding ones that will
I dont have the option to subscribe to a plan in my country, is there a way to view the camera feedback on 2 different phones? if i add it to one phone the other one gets disconected
Can you confirm if this camera needs a pay subscription or no pay subscription is needed? I bought a set of cameras that were originally SD CARD memory and the company upgraded their firmware and it is now a PAY subscription.
Yep. That’s how they get you. You can get around it popping out your SD card and plugging it into a computer to download what you want. Surprisingly though ours stopped working after we cancelled our subscription. Now it only seems to work when me and my wife are getting ready for bed. Makes me wonder if there’s some perv in India tuning in to us.

Thank you for this quick and easy informative video!
I have a question… I plan to use the Micro SD card. So, is it possible to delete the recordings off the card? If so, how?
Also, since I’ll be using the micro SD card, does it have to record 24/7? Or can it be from a certain time to a certain time?
did you ever figure that out? was wondering the same, how do you get the footage from the micro sd?
I do not recommend Kasa camera system. It will record to you SD; able to view it but not download it. If you try to download it is just a snip shot of the beginning of a video which does nothing for you. The only way you are able to share the video is thru paid subscription. Not worth it in my opinion. Look for something else.
Thanks for the review! Two questions though, that are kind of important for what I need it for: when you set it up for continuous recording to the SD card, does it split it into clips or you end up with a giant clip? And also, can you pop the card into your computer and see the videos there, or can you only see them through the app?
Thank you for the insight!
It splits them into clips. Haven’t tried to take the SD card out yet to see if you view the videos from there.
@@thomasnguyen3016 where do you view the clips then?
Can you set it up to record from a certain time to a certain time?
Do recordings stay recorded onto the camer itself or only SD?
@@blank1505 you view the clips on your phone, but there is a slight delay. Possibly because of WiFi but I don’t think so.
Yes, there is a schedule setting (days and time). Although I don’t know if it records if you don’t have a schedule setting. Mine is set to just record 24/7.
Recordings stay on the camera until it is re-written.

This cam must be an older version because my cam doesn't have the SD slot
When using the free live streaming, is there a Windows App I can launch and watch or is it only available from my phone?

Note: same network.
Does otg work?
Hello, I would like to ask if there is a Live Streaming option from the Camera to Alexa, I mean, you mentioned "Shot" so, it's going to share only a simple Picture (Shot) or it will share live stream? I want to buy it for monitoring using Alexa (Live Monitoring), is that possible?
Yes it is, I watch it from my echo show.
@@luis007c how long does the love view last on Alexa? I have a blink camera and the live view only lasts 5 minutes. Does this one have a time limit?
I thought it was wireless that’s why I bought it?
I was hoping to see some night vision footage.
Thanks for the review. I think I'm going to buy one of these for my garage today. : )
How can I access the camera when I'm in other places with internet?
I just got a few of these. They barely work.
I have a Tapo like that
First to comment. Come on!!!
Surely that's worth a prize!
@@allthingstech I know right. I sure be waiting for mine sir lol please let me know when it’s on its way. And first to give thumbs up lol
Hi, thanks for the review. can it be stream directly to google home?
Not 100% on this sorry!
