I was born in Port Angeles in the 50's. Illegitimate child of a local girl and a mill worker. Lots of bad memories here. Drunken loggers, drunken mill workers, uneducated people, small town gossip, getting beat on by adults when I was a kid. Cold, windy, mill stink in the air. All my relatives are buried in P.A. Only 2 of my relatives showed up for my sisters funeral in 2009. I left that day, and won't be back!
Sorry to hear that, William. I too lived in Port Angeles off and on for a few years. I have family who still live there, My mom was murdered there...Have good memories as well as bad. It's still a beautiful place visually...But, as you said, the people there (some, not most...things do change) are uneducated and drugged up most of the time.

yes, The hospital is really big now after they built a whole new area and the theater is medium but very expensive 11 dollers

Port angeles has problems with homelessness & drug use, and the smell is sea air mostly. But all in all life here isn’t bad at all.
