what a great video and I like that you’re breaking it up into smaller chunks. I just watched it at work where I don’t have time to actually create the stuff right now but I’m going to watch it again later and start building for 2024. I used a paper planner for most of 2023 and while it was cute I just found it so clunky I think I’m going to go back to OneNote for 2024 and utilize it on my iPad mini when I’m at work or away from home.

Glad you enjoyed it! That sounds like a good plan. I hope it works for you. I suggest building your pages on your desktop and syncing it to your mini to use on a daily basis. 😉

I love how you are adding the links to the side. What if I didn't use this last year and need to start fresh. Would I create the tables add to the side and top as you did and hyperlink to the direct sections once created?

Thank you again Crystal for your help and insights.
    This is so helpful 😊
I have a question for you : how do you keep your hyperlinks white, for example? They get blue when I use them, and I cannot get to change their colour.
    Thank you 🙏

Good question! I find that if I insert a link directly, it turns blue. But what you see on the screen is the Display Text which I can highlight or change the text color to whatever I would like. So try inserting the link, put the link in the address area and type a word like Week 1 into the text to display. This should work for you.

I love your videos but as a new person to onenotes and not have all the pages just to copy from other planners, how do I create something like this

Great question. If you click on the 2024 planner Playlist, I start at the very beginning with making the background and then work my way through the long term planning, dashboards, weekly and daily pages. I take it slow so you can follow along. I hope you find this helpful. It takes a little bit of time the first time you do it, but then you have the pages to copy and use throughout the year. ruclips.net/video/wJdXmx2RF6Q/видео.htmlsi=ZgLuTjY_JO98pmlD

After yout whole planner is set up for the year, how big is your onenote file? I created a Onenote file with all of the links and months set up using the print to onenote function. my onenote planner before adding any stickers or notes is already almost 200 MB

Great question. One of my biggest notebooks is currently 2.88 GB. I know that Microsoft periodically goes through and compresses the notebooks. Also the sections may be stored and tracked seperately and located by using a table of contents (.onetoc2) file. I have not encountered any problems with file size. I store my notebooks in the cloud so that they can be synced to multiple devices. I hope this helps.
