- A special Mass took place in Dungarvan Community Hospital church, followed by a reception in the adjacent Dunabbey House to mark the 60th anniversary of the ordination of the Very Rev. Fr. John Kiely (a resident of the HSE’s Dunabbey House residential nursing unit).
Fr. Kiely was joined for the celebration by the Most Rev. Bishop of the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore Alphonsus Cullinane, 11 colleague priests, members of the Kiely family, friends, fellow residents and staff of the hospital and Dunabbey House.
Director Nursing for Dungarvan Community Hospital/Dunabbey House Paula French, on behalf of all staff there, extended their best wishes to Fr. Kiely.
