This is one of our personal favorites at this particular price point as the Polk Reserve R700 shares several components which equates to performance VERY close to that of Polk's Legend line for MUCH less of an investment. The R700 is the largest model in Polk's Reserve series.

Brilliant speakers. Not as exciting as the kef meta range though. But awesome power and movie fun.

we're KEF dealers as well but the barrier to entry in a like kind format of floor standing is nearly double the cost of these at 4k/pr. so it's an entirely different price point
I can't stand KEF with the metallic tinge to the tweeter. Very unnatural and annoying. Fail.

despite MANY other brands being this way, i’ve never heard kef to be bright - i can only guess it was paired with something to overemphasize the highs and even likely had them boosted via eq
kef are extremely neutral with almost anything they’re paired with
So how do you like it, i heard some say the bass is overemphasized
these along with the Paradigm Premier 800F's are the go to choices in this price category and our clients love them

@@MasterofPlay7 can't say - personally was never a fan of the bright sound that is (or was) klipsch - i've heard they've been making strides away from that aspect as of late
I have a pair of Dali ikon 6. How would the polks compare? Saw you had some Dali’s there so you’d be the best to ask! THANKS!
the polks are more dynamically capable but the dali's would be more capable of communicating detail - if you'd like to upgrade the ikon 6 to anything dali or polk please get in touch and i'd be happy to help find something for you !

i guess all my time spent in the gym has paid off for something😂
i have the L600s which are of similar weight . i placed furniture glides under the feet . this allowed me to easily slide them around to find the optimal listening position for my room . when satisfied with the position you want , just remove the glides . i left my glides in place so i could clean more easily . i can move the speakers with only one hand .
