Today we're playing some MARVEL! mvc2 online via nulldc bear works pretty well, and today we're facing off against j360, one of the best iron man players in the business! We're running some top tiers, some low tiers, and shenanigans ensue! Hope you enjoy!

I will always watch MvC2 matches. For me it’s such a nostalgic game. One the quintessential fighting games of all time IMO.
I remember taking summer classes at my local community College sophomore year of high school.
A guy at the arcade there saw me play strider, and told me about team clockwork. He taught me the basics, and the rest is history! Fighting game addict. Doesn't matter which game, I just wanna try em all!
@@Brian-xr8cl same here bro, I love fighting games. I was pretty good at this game back in the day, not on a professional level, but winning at my local arcade and amongst friends. If I could’ve dedicated more time to Tekken, I know I could’ve competed in a few tournaments and do pretty good. Fighting games are so fun and they’re the best to play competitively because the games are quick and everyone has a chance to play!!! I miss the arcade days, but everything is online now and COVID doesn’t make anything better either. We have to bring the arcade back and the feeling of playing in person and having fun amongst friends and rivals!!!

It’s crazy how active this game still is. My dream is to build a man cave and have an arcade style wall with MvC2, Simpson’s Arcade, Ninja Turtles Arcade, Street Fighter 2, and House of the Dead 2. I know that was random, but so is my thought process. Lol

Just buy a Megacade. You can all that in that machine. It even works with console games.
I understand the feeling of owning the legit arcade machine, anyone can build one modern with raspeberry and etc... My dream would include a Pump Dance Machine!
This game has a special place in my heart. Used to love going to random arcades or game rooms and hoppin on this game. Ended up getting it on ps2 later down the line. Fun to play and watch
Nimbus -X yes it is indeed. Also recently got myself a complete ps2 copy of the game after getting rid of my previous loose copy a few years ago.

Mvc2 looks nice but for me personally it gives off a mugen vibe with its graphics
On a nitpicky level, I think the character select sprite display is the dullest and laziest possible and the way the health bars instantly decrease each hit does also look scuffed
Other than that, yeah, it looks great still

The only SF characters left AT ALL now are Akuma and Cammy, and maybe sometimes Guile if you're godly with him.

Best Ironman I've seen is General Thrillah. He is way more consistent,so when he gets a hit the opponent dies from the infinite. Then the incoming character gets guard broken and one touch killed too.

I know of a good team that you can play as in MvC2: Ryu, Akuma/Gouki and Iron Man. Try them out.

Unrelated question, anyone knows how AI fighters fight? Difficulty slider can prepare one player for competitive play? (Unlikely I believe) wondering because glitches exploits, and the posible randomization of movements from a CPU, I know in some games they cheat, they don't charge or hold, but in other aspects how it works
God, I miss this game. I remember spending hours playing pick-up matches with my friends till 3am on our custom arcade sets. Is it still possible to do the classic infinites ala Magneto, storm, strider, HVP cable, etc etc? Been watching newer clips and I haven't been seeing these infinites. I still recall that one casual pick up with this guy named Mitsu - who was the king of ironman at the time - and him absolutely slapping J. Wongs cheeks in a few matches with ironman infinites and unblockables. The good ole days lol
......so he's a pro player....I hooked my xbox360 in for my kid and showed him mvc2...I clicked online to see if anyone still played and well yea..he infinite me...

Oh I gotta disagree with that one, there were many Ironmans but since half of the people who did play this game don't anymore Josh has that title. He's not the best period, he's one of the best. But to say that would be saying that all the other Ironmans were trash. Personally I've always liked mitsus Ironman and combofiends.

Hmmm, sakura you doing to much teleporting. She has decent combo ability and pokes. Use those to combo into something to get more damage using sakura and she also has hurricane kick infinite. I like using her she is underrated in my opinion.
There are two types of fgc players. Those that became combo masters in real life by becoming successful and those that are still doing the same old dial a combo in their moms basement hahaha
Not a big fan of Marvel, specifically, but the retro games are cool. Specially in this lull between DBFZ releases.

After watching DBFZ the damage in this game is so much higher, can die so quickly
The damage is more realistic in my opinion. I think in DB fighter Z it takes too much to kill a character.

Back in the early 2000s when this game came out on dream cast I was vicious with the combo's. And with Tekken tag. How are you guys playing this game distantly? I'm trying to get back into it.
