Love this mini! I've seen that paper pad and almost bought it...now I'll definitely have to get it :). Such a bright and cheerful book with SO much room! Love your work Michelle. Now I'm off to check out your blog. TFS!
Hi. No, I haven't done that, but I have had a few requests to do that so I think in the future I will incorporate more of the page decorations/additions to the videos. Thanks for watching!
Michelle Allen that would be awesome. I hope it happens soon. I'm a newbie at this and a tutorial would definitely help. Plus your work is amazing. *thumbs up*
Hi, Yvette!!! I used a hole punch by Tim Holtz, it is a small hand cranked tool for use with metals and such. It worked pretty well. I think you could probably also use the Cropadile as well. Thanks for looking!
can you tell me what you use for the base pages. they look sturdy but not stiff. Is is just card stock or are you using chip board for all the pages. I love your book and want to make one. thank you
The base pages of this album (that are attached to the spine/binding) are all just paper bags (like you get at the store, the smaller versions). They are a bit larger than lunch size paper bags, the ones that I used. The pockets on the backs of all of the pages are created using the bottom of the paper bag when it is folded up…makes a great pocket piece. The additional flaps and additions are made from kraft colored card stock. All of these pages are covered with patterned papers that are heavier, these specifically are from a DCWV paper stack, so they provide a lot of sturdiness to the pages, especially to the paper bags. I hope that helps!!
I just love that album! And I love that paper collection ... I keep looking at it, picking it up, flipping through the papers ... but I always put it back down. I think I'm going to have to just go buy it. hahaha! What size bags did you use? I noticed that it looked a bit bigger. Were they Celebrate It bags from Michaels? Thanks for sharing the album! It turned out fabulous! And I love the waterfall effect too!
Thanks Jamie for coming by! Yes, you are right, the bags I used are bigger. I tend to hoard stuff and I had saved a bunch of lunch sized bags from my shopping trips. They are 6 1/4" wide, and I cut them to 9". If you make one, I would love to see it! Let me know!
Michelle Allen I finally bought the paper collection! I'm trying to decide what type of album to make! I've only ever made one mini and it was a paper bag mini; I used paper gift sacks from Hobby Lobby which are slightly bigger than the Michaels "Celebrate It" bags that everyone is so fond of using. I liked the nice big pages it gave me. We shall see what I come up with!
Simply Adorable!
Absolutely beautiful! So full of color! Love paper bag minis. TFS.

I saved these bags from my shopping trips, they were given to me by the stores. They are 6 1/'4" wide, and I cut them to 9". I hope that helps!
