The history and the pride shown in the care of the stables is outstanding. What a joy to behold. Thank you for taking your viewers with you to such amazing places.
Amazing, i loved it, so thankyou guys
beautifully said
If you speak to them, please convey our gratitude for allowing you to film and share with the world. The horses were so regal and the carriages were remarkable specimens of actual functioning history. Very grateful for them allowing you to film and for you to put it on your channel as well. Thank you.
A friend of mine has been there, and she told me that all of the horses were so so patient and friendly!
They are, I’ve been there on a tour and it’s very nice.
That was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for taking us on a tour of the Royal Dutch stables. It’s so great to learn of the traditions and history behind it all. The taxidermy war horse was so interesting. To see how they really cared about the horses was heart warming. Tysm.
It’s so important that as Europeans we celebrate and maintain our history and traditions.
This was so impressive! You should visit the ‚Spanische Hofreitschule‘ in Vienna, Austria.
Throwing my support behind that tour!!
I second this! :D
So nice to see that Royal households keep up this tradition. As far as I know a son of my favorite Friesian horse Uniek fan e Göengamieden lives at these stables. Now I also know how and why he was re-named.
💕💕💕💕
Uniek!
Queen Uniek?
Queen Uniek has a son? As far as I know her first foal was stillborn. We witnessed the tragedy by videos of Yvonne. And then, destiny sent her an orphaned foal and she accepted it as hers. But "Rising Star" is still in stal G. because the owner sold him to Yvonne for a very kind price 😉 So which son of Uniek are you mentioning?
@@hansgustaf540 Uniek has already had 6 foals 😊 Star was Yvonne's first foal since the purchase of Queen Uniek, but Uniek's second son. Her first son was called Julius fan 'e Goëngamieden but was re-named Vilmar by princess Beatrix. Eefje, a daughter of Queen Uniek can be seen in some older videos of the channel. Let's hope and pray her 7th baby will arive safely in this world soon! 🙏 By the way: I also fell in love with Uniek and Risey, her foster son. She's a truly special horse.
What an awesome privilege and a beautiful tribute for your country thank you for sharing 🤩🥰
I love when you do these stable tours! The Royal Dutch Stables were so beautiful. Thanks for taking us along on your visit.
The history of the Kladruby nad Labem stud farm in the Czech Republic is unbelievable. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is a royal stable. It was already visited by Maria Theresa of the Habsburg dynasty. If you want to see something really beautiful, I recommend visiting here. And the Czech Republic as a whole is very unexplored by foreigners.
So heartening to see people so dedicated to their work and the quality this produces
Zeer mooi en integer gemaakt door Jesse & Matt. Dank aan de Koninklijke Stallen Den Haag voor een kijkje achter de schermen.
My horse is also a Gelderland paard he is from Gelderland and my best friend's horse is a KWPN.
Nice greats from Germany to the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Cinderella glass carriage was
it for me... WOW WOW WOW!!
Tremendous tradition... much respect for the care given and devoted handlers.
the bird walking in the background in the first few minuets😂 ,love it.👌
OK. Three things. Loved the (new) introduction. Two, I really like seeing you and Jesse "co hosting," because you guys are in this together ... your interactions are fun and interesting. And three, cause they seem to be a necessary evil these days, I really enjoyed this post without a sponsor. It seems to make things more human to human. Loved it, thanks.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to see the royal stables something the majority of us would never have the opportunity to experience! Thank you
Love watching both of you ride and explore fancy stables. I no longer have horses or ride because of an accident. Didn’t realize how much I miss it. Watching you ride and take care of your horses with love fill a small missing part of my life. Thanks for all you do.
Loved this stable tour what an amazing place and lovely people and beautiful horses, thanks for sharing this Matt and Jesse xx
Thank you to both Jesse and yourself. As well as the staff and Royal Family of Netherlands that took the time and shared their expertise in the making of this video.
The carriages are amazing!! So good to keep the tradition alive.
Take a shot with every Yeah and you won't be sober until 2023😂🤣
On a serious note, this was a beautiful tour. Thank you for offering us a peek into such an old establishment.
Wow! Thank You! What a wonderful surprise!!! Spectacular Stables!
I was waiting for your graduation, it was very interesting. I'm delighted. Horses are wonderful animals. Thank the world that I opened your channel🙂🙏💚🥰
The stable is so big and nice I wish I had a chance to see the royal stable in real life so Matt your a big inspiration to me and everyone else thanks for taking time out your life to make theres vids
This was great to see as I would never be able to see it otherwise. The stables were magnificent, horses well kept, and everything was extremely well kept and in readiness.
I just love to watch Combined Driving, there's just something classy about driving horses
and I love the tack room I think that i the biggest one I ever saw
Thank you so much! I really enjoyed that tour😀. I volunteer at a horse rescue and when I see these gorgeous stables I wish all horses could live like this but our rescue horses are cared for and loved and that’s the most important thing❤️
What an incredible and appreciated experience! It’s one thing to see the Royal Family riding in carriages during parades and such. This however, was so up and personal; I can hardly believe that you included us in this wonderful tour! It was also such a joy seeing you together in a video. I know that you are told this often, but truly, you compliment one another in every way; Thank you both very very much ❣️
Stunning! 🤩 But I can’t help but wonder where the real pastures are…and if they ever are turned out for a “vacation”.
The best stable tour EVER. I loved it!!!!!😍🐎🐎🐎🐴🐴
Wow! How Magnificent! Thanks for the video! You guys are the best! 😘
can you go to "Spanische Hofreitschule" in vienna? that would be awesome. idk if you will read this but who knows :) i am from vienna and visited them a few times but a "behind the scenes" view would be great.
WOW! Thanks for taking us along in America. The history unbelievable.
Fantastic! What a treat this has been!
I thought it was funny when Jesse asked if the coach from 1826 was hand made! You guys are great and a wonderful couple.
Impressive place and interesting tour. Thanks for sharing. 🇨🇦
Oh my goodness. All the Cinderella vibes! 😍What an honor for them to invite you. Thank you for sharing with us!!! 👏🏼👏🏼
Many thanks for sharing these historic facilities. And having the tours given in well spoken English is quite a luxury. Thanks 😊
Beautiful traditions being continued in a great way!
Comment about the last video: looking back at your first video was really special, you have grown and opened up so much and that's what's so inspiring about you and your content. Thank you🌈🔥
Outstanding! How kind of the Dutch to share their tradition and horse legacy. An enriching experience.
I used to ride when I lived in the Netherlands as a child. This is a treat to see. Nu heb ik echt heimwee. 🥰
This was an awesome historical experience love it so very beautiful horse and all.
I love how they've hung the internal letters of the dressage ring over the indoor arena
Thank you for sharing guys. I love horses they are also my spirit guides⭐️🙏🏽light and love🙏🏽⭐️
Beautiful place for royal horses and of course the lovely carriages, you can see the pride in your kind hosts faces as they take you around. Thank you Matt and Jesse!
I just Loved this video, thank you both so much. I have never seen anything like this before, thank you so very much for sharing this time with all of us. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💖
Oh my goodness, how gorgeous!!! It's really beautiful that they keep those traditions alive!
At Paleis het Loo you have a whole section dedicated to the carriges. There are some stables left and if you walk in the park there you can walk pass a meadow with some horses of them
Wow, thank you so much boys for this tour. I have Friesians but my dream horse since I was child is a large black , with 4 white socks and a blaze. Sneak one home for me Matt and Jesse. I'm sure they won't notice.
I’m Dutch but have never gone to see the stables… so lovely to see this part of our heritage and culture preserved. Horses are such a part of the Netherlands.
Edit...sorry, trying for clarity...
Stal fan e Goengamieden,is a small Friesian breeding Stable, at which Queen 👑Uniek is the lead mare...Her colt, Julius, some years ago, was sold on the Royal Dutch Stables, for pulling the coaches...prestige is nice 👍!
Matt they are very beautiful thanks for sharing them with us l love to go and see them
oh my god, this is absolutely breathtaking...
That was wonderful. Thanks for doing this video. So beautiful and so much fun to see and hear the history. Please keep doing these kind of videos too. Hi from Oregon USA.

Oh my gosh ! The carriages were phenomenal!😯
wow that was incredible!! what an honour for you to get a tour! thank you for sharing, just wonderful!!
like England has .So special thank you for letting me go with you❤🎉😮
I think the most impressing thing was the dead horse, just standing there. Imagine him while he was walking through the historical battle of Waterloo, being a hero cuz he saved his rider. This is sooooo impressive
This is now on my bucket list.
Magnificent and great historical place really enjoyed the video and grand horses 🐎 they are magnificent
I have been there myself with a open door day. Fun fact, my former instructor when i was a teenager, had been working there afterwards. Great to see these amazing stables again
I watched the tour first on Horse World TV. Enjoyed it again today. Now waiting on a new video on Horse World TV. Thanks to you and Jesse for great content.
Beautiful horses and kind caretakers. Thank you for sharing.
Stunning! Thank you so much. That tack room is to die for! ❤️❤️❤️
That is the kind of place I could spend my entire vacation seeing it all and soaking in the history and tradition and horses. Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you guys, it was very interesting. We in germany love the House of Orange- Nassau too.
Photography and editing was very well done. Loved this video!! Well done, Matt. So beautifully done and so excellent! This will be a wonderful piece of history for folks to look at in the future. The interviews went so very well. The language flowed so well. I feel I should be saying: "That is SO good!" in Dutch. PS The presenters look good too!!! :-)
Immaculate facility! Thank you for bringing us along to see the Dutch Royal Stables
Awesome, thank you for the journey and showing me some of my heritage. ♥️
Anything you can tell us about Dutch history, I for one would be very interested. Love the horse of William of Orange!!!
What a magnificent facility! I really enjoy seeing beautiful horses pulling a carriage. This was an interesting video.
Absolutely beautiful- the Geldlenders(sp) and Freisians would be known as Heavey harness horses - because of their sizes a Quarter Horse or a Thourobred would be a light harness horse - it brought back goid memories from when I worked for Robert Coson at Beechdale Farms in Bird -In -Hand Pa USA - HE had an extensive carriage collection and drove Hackneys and Lippizans
Exquisite! Respect and honor for tradition for history for beauty and for each other - this tour is unparalleled - thank you!
So beautiful! I love the artful carriges!
Wow absolutely gorgeous and the horses all look stunning, nice that they get to go out with friends as well
💜 Beautiful! Lovely tour, thoroughly enjoyed it! ❣
I always thought the Netherlands was cool! And this makes it even better, thanks for the tour!

You won me over, I'm going to subscribe to your channel. Good job.
This was awsome to see the beautiful stables, horses and carriages and learn the history.
Wow. That was so cool to watch and see how they live and work with the royal horses. I wish we could have seen more of the horses though… Friesians are such beautiful horses.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place and all its history!
Stunning stables, would love you to visit the British Royal Stables
Omg thank you so much for sharing this opportunity, it's amazing 🤗❤
Wow just wow guys this was amazing u guys were so lucky to be able to take a tour of this place it’s gorgeous all of it ❤️❤️❤️
Fantastic tour.thank you.very educational. Beautiful horses.
Thank you Matt, for these wonderful tours of such special stables. Of course they have all been beautiful, fascinating places to see, but it is most lovely to know that there are horses receiving such good, loving care.
I have recently come across a RUclips channel called Fenna For Animals. She features the Algrave Horse Alarm rescue in Portugal. Unfortunately, the horses they find are not living such comfortable lives and are often severely abused. I found it terribly difficult to finish watching their videos. They function with such minimal resources and struggle to pay for the help that the horses need. Perhaps Matt, if you watch a video or two, you would mention their needs on one of your videos. You are well loved around the world and I have watched enough of your posts to know you would abhor the situations these horses are suffering through. I believe if more people knew about the struggles of Agrave Horse Alarm, they would reach out to help. I do not know Fenna or anyone involved there. I live in California and have never been to Portugal. It simply broke my heart to see such suffering.
Reminds me a lot of the Queens guards in london and inside their stables, it's on 2 levels with horses below ground then another level on top. Also includes a convenience store in the middle.
Wonderful video, I really love these tours and it's so nice to get a glimpse into these beautiful, historic places.
absolutely beautiful and a lovely thing to see you both - love the banter - and a love place to see like this but again of course it used to be military at the time - like the queens Elizabeth is a horsewoman too -
