Paula, I just made this with chocolate and vanilla layers. If you spray your pan lightly then put on your parchment, the paper won't shift when spreading it out. Just a tip! Best Wishes!

Teachers LOVE the kind of gift you are talking about! Every teacher I know and there are four in my family alone, would prefer a nice glass jar of homemade cookies or candies than another teachers ornament! They get so many gifts that sometimes the ones that fill the belly or warm them up leave more lasting memories than the ones who fill their houses to the brim!

That peppermint candy ice cream is my absolute favorite as well! Does Blue Bell ever make it? I am a Texan and I live 2 hours from where Blue Bell started!!! That Ice Cream is my favorite brand! I also love the Sweet Cream at a Marble Slab Creamery. I also went to Texas Tech university and the town that school is in, called Lubbock, has a place called Sheridan’s Creamery where they serve frozen custard and delicious doesn’t even begin to describe it. Their dairy is bought from a small farm with Jersey cows. I always get a shake with coconut flakes and coconut cream blended in it with extra whipped cream on top with 2 maraschino cherries! The texture and flavor is close to butter due to the extremely high fat content! Hands down ice cream is probably my favorite desert other than rich rich cheese cake and dense moist cake.

Good Morning Y'all...Happy Tuesday. I have never made this... but I do buy that peppermint bark in the bag that's individually packaged. You guys might know what I'm talking about .But they're wonderful but this sounds even better.I used to use them glass jars Paula...I would fill them up with homemade granola when my child was little. She would give them out at Christmas to her teachers it was really good.I haven't made any of that in a long time. Love you all on here ♥️Paula, Eddie ,Teresa y'all have a beautiful day😀

One of my favorites at Christmas time
Today, 12/20, I did make this Bark. Oh, I did microwave the morsels for @ 2 1/2 mins. When I took it out it was hot enough to blend any left over morsels not melted. Save a lot of time .I'm giving it as a gift to bowling team mates and family!! They'll love it. Thanks again for the recipe. Merry Christmas!

My daughter loves this bark. Sometimes I melt chocolate and poor over the peppermint back either semisweet or milk chocolate
I make what they call sweet & salty, you put cocktail peanuts & small pretzel sticks on parchment paper & pour the white chocolate over it. It's delicious.

And the other day I watched one of her throwbacks I think 🤔, and she was saying “jail”! I think it was Bobby and Jamie both teasing her because she was actually saying “gel” as in gel icing!! She kept repeating it and all of a sudden in a deep voice she says “GEL”😂😂!!! I lol’d so hard!! God love her!!❤️

I would not use the parchment paper, I would just use the cookie sheet. I would cut the extra paper off of it. It sure looks so good.

My mom loved her ice cream sadly I lost her nov 12 at 90 but she always told me you know I’m sick if I don’t won’t ice cream and she would say I don’t know why I love it so good I miss her so much 😢
