not truth... Andy Anderson is a pro sure and nice tricks... but if you are looking to see this Alexander Level... don't look for Andy.... B P dont click bait that's wrong....
@Bob Dobalina nobody has reached Mullen's level of skill with a skateboard and nobody probably ever will all the tricks these pro skaters do in this era is based off what Mullen invented.
I know lol. I meant watching the video somewhere in the world. Usually if it meant the person is deceased the the phrase is, "he's watching down/or from above and smiling"
It's crazy when you've seen all of Rodney's skate videos and watched this video and you realize that his greatness is basically untouchable, like it's already safe.
Sick skills. But nothing that hasn’t been done before. That’s why you can’t have a next Rodney Mullen. The guy basically invented skateboarding as we know it.
Comments full of "he's just a copycat...not original" ridiculousness. You fools know that Mullen himself would be over the fuckin' moon to see what we just saw, right? And he'd be flattered, too. Shit, the kid is even sketchy in the same way Mullen is. The chaotic arm flailing is strong with him! :) Awesome video, dude! \m/ \m/
you have to emulate your idols... there's going to be some residue but this kid doesn't copy mullen he has his own style... yeah you do see a little bit of mullen in there but this guy is so good it will just morph into his own and you will see some mullen and that's natural.
and also does that mean any fucking trick that anyone does is "copycat" any kickflip any ollie any tre...is that a copy and who is it a copy of the creator of the trick or another skater? fuckin ridiculous. this kids a great skater. period. any dumbfuck who says otherwise is beyond ignorant
I like to think of him as his own skater rather than making him live in the shadow of a man whose inventiveness and general contribution to the art will never be topped, but regardless of context, Alex is incredible and a super nice, humble guy.
This was 5 years ago, i could only imagine how much hes improved. Not that he needed any improvement just sayin though. This stuff takes a lot of practice and patience and frustration, good for him. In life im sure youll be just fine.
OMG this kid is amazing. I love the old school nods too, the Natas spin, and slashing grass, hell yeah! Someone has to be controlling this kid with a PS controller.
Flynn Swagmire from the way Rodney speaks about how he always wanted to innovate and just do what he does and then plant the seed in the community and watch kids take it to where he couldn't imagine once he got older I think that's what this kid is doing right now and I think he would smile if he saw this video
Damn son this reminds me of when i used to dream i was skating and could actually land these kinda tricks, mad props kid keep doin it for all is older guys who had to step off the board
That's right tho, also Rodney's Manual looks balancing but this guy looks difficult..but I can respect this guy because he can do such a great things ;)
Mullen is Mullen, comparing any other skater to him is kinda unfair, coz nobody is gonna compare. Plus, lots of Mullen clips are in slo-mo, so we can see what he does, he flips the board so fast, Slo-mo is the only real way to see whatever fucking insane thing he just did with his board. (Plus, he almost never showed any bail videos. I can only remember 2 clips that showed him no making a trick. 1 with that dog in Globe - Opinion, and at the end of Rodney vs Daewon Round 2.) At normal video speed Mullen doesn't make it look that effortless, coz guess what, that shit ain't easy.
Well the Mullen videos were heavily edited too. In the RUclips era, it's ok if you fail, at least in skating. Back then you'd see videos with perfect tricks. This guy here shows us pretty much everything, including sketchy tricks. I like it.
Your making a name for yourself bro that's so awesome great control! Your on my list of top 10 bro! With Rodney Mullen but not Rodney you got your own flare and I love it!
For sure some of the most technical fliptricks and manuals I've seen in years. Keep it up, in a few years you'll be doing them as smoothly and elegantly as Rodney
There is no such thing as the next Rodney Mullen . Rodney Mullen was such amazing bizzare crazy skater , that change everything for skateboarding of every trick he did that made skateboarding what is today there can only be one Rodney Mullen because he changes everything to the skate board world making him unique . But I got to say this kid is amazing and tech , keep up the good work , I want to see more.
+jalopez529 y dont forget mike vallely for coming out with the barnyard dual tail deck..yet another milestone in the evolution of skating as we know it
+tasteegold77 It was Rodney that designed the barnyard deck . But as i remember Vision had a deck called double Vision that where out before Barnyard. Anyway Mike Vallely is up there With Rodney when it comes to contributing to skating in my eyes He `s not the Amazing Gyroscope man as Rodney is but his agressive creative style is in a way the opposite polarity of Rodney`s gracefull technicality. Only Rodney Is Rodney A Legend and legends live forever so there`will be no need for a new one.
DUDE!!! You are re-inventing skateboarding. Your agility is inasane and your pops and kicks are flawless. I know this take hundreds of tries (as I used to skate too in the 80's and 90's) but I see insane skill. Incredible job. Keep up the commitment. 👍😃👍
If you can pull of the same tricks as Rodney your an amazing skater. If your doing it at a young age your one to watch out for in the future. This kid is both. Someone will come along that takes skating to a new level. This kid could be on his way to doing just that. When I compare him to Rodney I feel he still has a ways to go.
+Mark McCulloch good opinion on that one. watch out for his upcoming part. it's gonna be game changing. This trick just took him like 1-30 trys and we recorded the whole thing in 4 days. Imagine the potential of 2 years filming and more tries.
Jonny Giger I hear ya!!! He has time on his side! I remember seeing a dark side grind for the first time and going nuts over such a trick! I've been sk8ting a long time. Lol I see so much potential in this young man. My eye is on him and the next level of sk8ting is his for the taking if he puts in the work as Rodney has. One out of 30 tries is omg sick for such tricks. For Rodney its like walking at this point in his life at his age, after all the time practicing. Again your boy is on his way. Rodney open a door for skaters like this to walk through and then elevate to a new level. Tell your boy he has a fan of his skating and to keep on keeping on with the path he is on! Possible that in time there will be no comparison at all with Rodney instead we will compare others to him!? Really push him cause I can see from this video he can take it there!
I gotta say two things. 1. Rodney was and always will be mind blowing. He did stuff that had never been done before. That's the hardest thing; once it's been done, recreating it is much easier. RM will go down as best skater ever. 2. This kid is a f-ing BOSS! Sick skating for sure!
my knees won't let me keep up the mojo from 20 years ago, but nice to see kids still getting down in the streets. I like the technical stuff more than the big air x-games type. thanks for sharing
there will never be another Rodney Mullen. No matter how good this kid gets, and he is already amazing, you cant ever be put on the same level as the guy who invented most of the tricks we all do. not only that he does them all perfectly. hell, a shit ton of tricks he did perfectly 20 years ago nobody does sketchy today.
Plus he had freestyle behind him for so many years. That’s why Rodney was so different. He merged his freestyle, style, with Street. That’s why his board tricks were so unbelievably different and progressive
+Jon Peroutka Well, we here in the Olympics believe skateboarding would make an excellent edition to our series of sports we have, getting started is easy, first we have the contestants submit to a simple urinalysis test aaand its gone.
Somewhere in this world i am watching this and i am completely jealous of his skate talent but wont give him shit because he also serves as inspiration and deserves mad respect
Guy is definitely good. The trick at 1:50 is probably my favorite. On the other hand, the whole landing cross legged or pretzel style thing he does a lot of; I know it adds a level of difficulty, but it just doesn't look that cool to me at all. Rodney also just has this crispness and flow to his style that I've never seen replicated. Oh and all the tricks he invented.
Just when I think skateboarding has reached a peak and can progress no further, someone like this comes along and shocks me with his creativity and skill. Very impressive.
+Jonny Giger My main argument was that even though this kid is decent at flip tricks and manuals, he'll never be the next Mullen. Mullen is a literal genius (borderline autistic) and revolutionized street skating for all of us. This kid isn't revolutionizing anything; he's only doing something that's already been done. I understand that the title of the video is for marketing purposes- increased views, etc.. but's its extremely inaccurate. Either way, the only thing that matters is this kid is having and doing what he loves.
Joshua Liebscher haha then you should better brace yourself for his new street part it's nbd only. alex has landed more tricks then any other human being i know and i also know some pros. he's the human who gets closest to rodney mullen.
Everyone is taking this way too literally. No shit he's not an exact copy of Rodney Mullen. No shit he didn't thrive in the 80s and invent his own flatground tricks. Do I also have to explain that this kid is not 49 years old like a "real" Rodney Mullen would be. Seriously, yall need to take your Rodney Mullen enjoi boards out of your butt holes and realize that this kid's style is pretty much like Rodney's which is rare and refreshing in today's world of skateboarding.
Why be next Rodney Mullen when you can be the first Alexander Rademaker
Well said homie
Word.
True that.
Check out Andy Anderson on NKA as well. Insane just like Alexander
not truth... Andy Anderson is a pro sure and nice tricks... but if you are looking to see this Alexander Level... don't look for Andy.... B P dont click bait that's wrong....
The next level of Rodney Mullen
Rodney is untouchable end of story, but this kid has some mad skills
Yup
*Matt Tomasello has entered the chat*
ArianOriginal21 I’d probably go with Mullenboarding
Mista@Bob Dobalina , won't you quit?
@Bob Dobalina nobody has reached Mullen's level of skill with a skateboard and nobody probably ever will all the tricks these pro skaters do in this era is based off what Mullen invented.
somewhere rodney is watching this and smiling 😁😃☺😃
Yup
That man is always smiling
He’s not dead
I know lol. I meant watching the video somewhere in the world. Usually if it meant the person is deceased the the phrase is, "he's watching down/or from above and smiling"
I can see him doing cringy shit like that sure.
This dude literally knows the "perfect balance" cheat code.
I Love the Sound of Skateboarding.
He needs those super baggy pants though.
That's what I was saying, his pants aren't baggy enough
@nigling nigga they saying they need to be more baggy you wannabe alpha
And he needs some weird arms mouvement
That's 90s rodney. Go 80s rodney all neon
Kyle no that’s current skateboarding get baggy pants and some fucking awesome and you’re trendy
It's crazy when you've seen all of Rodney's skate videos and watched this video and you realize that his greatness is basically untouchable, like it's already safe.
It's like it kills people to be positive or compliment someone
Sick skills. But nothing that hasn’t been done before. That’s why you can’t have a next Rodney Mullen. The guy basically invented skateboarding as we know it.
Exactly!!!, end of discussion
Check out matt tomasello
Show me someone else who does that trick at 1:33
and rodney develop the deck we are using rn
Manual treflip to manual was pretty special
We live in a connected society with RUclips as an epic platform. I want to see a Rodney Mullen and Alexander Rademaker skating together!
Make it happen guys!
Great idea.
Gotta invent a few hundred more tricks to be the next Mullen
Like the ollie
Mullen is the Einstein of skateboarding. ollie : skateboarding :: E=MC^2 : physics
***** He did invent the flat ground ollie and every other household name skater attributes things like the ollie, kickflip etc. to Mullen.
Alistair Cross word up.
I think I just made tony alva into isaac newton
Comments full of "he's just a copycat...not original" ridiculousness.
You fools know that Mullen himself would be over the fuckin' moon to see what we just saw, right? And he'd be flattered, too. Shit, the kid is even sketchy in the same way Mullen is. The chaotic arm flailing is strong with him! :)
Awesome video, dude! \m/ \m/
I'd be surprised if mullen hasn't seen this seeing how much love he has for skateboarding and othe skaters
you have to emulate your idols... there's going to be some residue but this kid doesn't copy mullen he has his own style... yeah you do see a little bit of mullen in there but this guy is so good it will just morph into his own and you will see some mullen and that's natural.

@Aloysius jealousy
@Aloysius ur pathetic
Rodney Mullen is Rodney Mullen. Be the next you.
Exactly. People trying to make it a Mullin vs. some up and comer type thing.
Remember linking tricks on tony hawk? Dude does it for real.
Pepe is your friend combo game strong!
He gets a new high score by just looking at the board when it knows it is in for some crazy stuff.
Lenny Leonardson..... Wanted to say.... I did this regularly on Hawk 3, 4 and underground
Lmao I always loved getting special then doing a triple heel flip
CH CH! CH CH! CH CH!
I like to think of him as his own skater rather than making him live in the shadow of a man whose inventiveness and general contribution to the art will never be topped, but regardless of context, Alex is incredible and a super nice, humble guy.

I like to think that Rodney would be proud af. Don't stop bro... phenoms don't stop.
Absolutely dope lines and combos I’ve never even seen in 30 years of skating!
Absolutely awesome video dude 👍🏻
I’ve been out of the skating game for a long time, but every now and again I will find some mind blowing skate videos. Stunning stuff
Hell yeah.
There won't be another Rodney Mullen, but this dude is great.
NOT THE NEXT RODNEY MULLEN. But he's pretty good at tricks that Mullen created/pioneered
No Mullen but very decent for sure.Rodey way more fluid.
All I've been watching for the last month is you and giger!
I love how none of the passers-by looked at these sick tricks.
I don't love that part though.
Must be ny
Mullen makes it look effortless, this guy makes it look difficult.
That's right tho, also Rodney's Manual looks balancing but this guy looks difficult..but I can respect this guy because he can do such a great things ;)
It is difficult lol

+Frank Hansen exactly
When it comes to Street skating Natas Kaupas and Marc Gonzales contribution is huge . Natas had super cool style he was street skating back late 80`s
The new 2016 Alex Rademaker vs Jason Park - Round 1
Thanks for sharing, Jonny :D
Mad respect this is my favorite style of skateboarding
Loving your work.
Carry the Torch man.
Love it.
Luv and Peace.
+Ian Edmonds thanks :)
+Jonny Giger it's good but he keeps trying to fly with his arms when he does tricks
granddaddyfunk This kid is dope. Find a better use for your time.
impressive but there will never be another rodney mullen
Exactly
I think rodney would be full of joy if he saw this kid skating
There cant be another rodney mullen of skateboarding
And we will never need more than 64K of RAM...
lol
Right On!!! This kid is sick. Hands down. Great skating brother.
Nice ! 🤩 & here i am just trying to kickflip a 3 stair lol
I would love to see Rodney Mullen vs Jonny Giger game of Skate.
No casperSlide no mullen.
But not bad" need a special one trick.
And spinning around really fast on one wheel for like 10 seconds.
@@CoasterCrazyy yea right like that's humanly possible. Leave that to the god.
manual tre flip manual is pretty mad
Good job! Dope video!
This guys crazzzy!.. .insane balance and creative af
The only reason anyone disliked this video is because they are offended by the title of the video. The kid has talent for sure.
Those Treflips-Lateflips.. GG
Te queda mucho camino aún para llegar a Rodney pero tranquilo, vas muy bien así.
Enhorabuena!!!
DUDE!!! You are re-inventing skateboarding. Your agility is inasane and your pops and kicks are flawless. I know this take hundreds of tries (as I used to skate too in the 80's and 90's) but I see insane skill. Incredible job. Keep up the commitment.
👍😃👍
many unreal awesome maneuvers! BIG up!
Hi palen
Looks like he's having fun. Good for him
good for him
Jonny!!!!! This guy is huge!!!! let's go!!!!!!
ooooh, he's got some Danny Gonzales moves too ! The wallkick flip tricks, the manual to pushing a wall to doing a manual in the other direction....
If you can pull of the same tricks as Rodney your an amazing skater. If your doing it at a young age your one to watch out for in the future. This kid is both. So good! I definitely see the Rodney comparison.
That's DOPE Bro
Watched this at half speed and it was super rad
I gotta say two things.
1. Rodney was and always will be mind blowing. He did stuff that had never been done before. That's the hardest thing; once it's been done, recreating it is much easier. RM will go down as best skater ever.
2. This kid is a f-ing BOSS! Sick skating for sure!
maybe rodney pretzel
First reaction wtf...
Second reaction what is happening....
+Rolphymus Christ, I want a pretzel now
rodney cena?
Angus Dylan Simbulan just no
+Zefyron Bourne hahahaha
Dude you are really great!
my knees won't let me keep up the mojo from 20 years ago, but nice to see kids still getting down in the streets. I like the technical stuff more than the big air x-games type. thanks for sharing

Amen to that, this kids good no doubt, but Rodney is still on a whole other level.
Back in the day their were legends that will be hard to replace like Rodney Mullen, Tony Hawk,Danny WayMike McGill ,etc.
there are a few tricks mullen still does today than only he can land
Plus he had freestyle behind him for so many years. That’s why Rodney was so different. He merged his freestyle, style, with Street. That’s why his board tricks were so unbelievably different and progressive
whatfreedom7
Don't forget Christian Hosoi
That cross footed heelflip would make pros cry in a game of skate... lol
Excellent, you're incredible bro! as somebody has already written you're the first Alex Rademaker!
This guy and Carlos Lastra are insane when it comes to manual tricks. They have perfected the balance. 👍🏼
Sick, yes. Next Mullen? No. Never.
This type of skating is far more entertaining to watch... Kudos to Alex, he's awesome!
Man, I saw him skate the first seconds and tought of Rodney. Same style...amazing!
with a good soundtrack and a nice edit, this would be one to remember!
The glasses give away his true identity: a wizard from the higher mountains.
I think this is the best I've seen since Mullen. If anyone's aware of anyone who's better, lemme know.
Andy Anderson is really good
You might be right.
Keep up the hard work bro
Damn. Good shit!
1:37 Ive done this in tony hawk games made for some big combos and points lol
Lol I can just imagine the combo sound effect
skating should be an Olympic sport oh wait they drug test never mind
+Christian Lopez u wot m9
+hahahaha I think you need to think about what you just said there... The xgames has tonnes more sponsorship than the Olympics and that's a fact!
Lmao
AAAAAAAAND IT'S GONE
+Jon Peroutka Well, we here in the Olympics believe skateboarding would make an excellent edition to our series of sports we have, getting started is easy, first we have the contestants submit to a simple urinalysis test aaand its gone.
I love it the 90s era clothing is finally coming back!!!! The Golden age!!!!
Somewhere in this world i am watching this and i am completely jealous of his skate talent but wont give him shit because he also serves as inspiration and deserves mad respect
Hes the kobe to rodneys jordan.
Its called landing in ballerina ..
Some great modern flatland/street skating footage!
A pleasure to watch for sure.
This was fucking crazy!
Take off PERFECT BALANCE cheat code lol
Good stuff!
Just when I think skateboarding has reached a peak and can progress no further, someone like this comes along and shocks me with his creativity and skill. Very impressive.
This guy reminds me of Richie Jackson
totally love that dude but i dont really like that title
+DissolvingTime gotta do what you gotta do
The cross foot flip and that 360 shove to one foot manny killed this whole vid.
0:58 Tony Hawk pro skater special sound went off in my head😯
Not the next Rodney Mullen, but he has a lot of potential. Great things are coming his way.
....and the darkslide???
His ballerina landings are on point . Late tre flips too. But that ballerina stair ride looks so damn natural.love it guy .dnt ever stop.
You got me. Subscribed. 😄👌
I just watched a whole lot of what, followed by the fuck, ended by is going on. That was crazy
Oh hai Mark!
Mullen invented all these tricks.. so yes, that would mean he's a copier. No disrepect, he's still a talented kid and all.
+Joshua Liebscher well than everybody is copying mullen nowadays
Not technically. This kid specifically combines freestyle with street skating. A vert skater would not be considered copying Mullen.
i mean every street skater. But alex style is almost same as rodneys... but that wasn't alex's purpose i guess, it's just the way he rides.

Get this killer on Braille. A game of skate versus the whole team would be sick!
1:04 that tre flip late kickflip is a WOOOOO. god damn
flatland is so goddamn beautiful.
yeah but it takes a lot of hard work to look decent
Everyone is taking this way too literally. No shit he's not an exact copy of Rodney Mullen. No shit he didn't thrive in the 80s and invent his own flatground tricks. Do I also have to explain that this kid is not 49 years old like a "real" Rodney Mullen would be. Seriously, yall need to take your Rodney Mullen enjoi boards out of your butt holes and realize that this kid's style is pretty much like Rodney's which is rare and refreshing in today's world of skateboarding.
Wow! The hat trick at the end... nice!
I like how you do manuals between your tricks to keep the combo meter running
1:21 what the fuckin fuck fark
shomonercy looks like a front side nollie impossible late flip.
Amazing but the clip at 1:43 lol. It that a joke Xd
Naw the spin cycle is legit!!! :p
Enjoyed that
Major props bro that took an immense amount of practice and dedication. Guaranteed you made Mullen proud!
