3:25 hits me really hard. My dad used to have a cat named boots he was a ginger and his paws were a beautiful shade of black hence the name boots, and was also missing an eye, but that never stopped him. Unfortunately one day he got one of his paws caught in a trap and was stuck there for a long time before my dad found him, it was really bad and the had to amputate the leg but even then he was such a trooper running and playing just like he did with four legs. Thankfully he had a long life before dying to health complications. I know some people won’t read all this but for those who do thank you for reading about this very good boy and have a blessed day.
Read it and can relate to it. Our Graugrau, means grey grey in German, was such a cute and adventurous kitty. We found him in our garden, he was smaller than my hand, even though I was only 8 at that time. One night I went downstairs in the dark to go to the kitchen for a drink and saw bloody spots all over the kitchen, leading to the stairs I came from. Scared but curious I went back to check it out and saw Graugrau sitting on the stairs, his tail a bloody, boney mess. It was just bone, pure bloody bone, no flesh. And as soon as light hit that cat he suddenly started to scream bloody murder, so I screamed too. Everybody woke up and my Dad drove him to the nearest emergency vet 2 hours away- we were in the middle of nowhere in France at the time- and got his tail amputated. He lived a long and healthy life and passed away peacefully in the end. He was an amazing companion and a cat I'll always miss when visiting my grandmother.
Well my cat die a sudden death… he showed no signs of illness and one day out of blue in the afternoon after my exam I saw him lying almost dead in the 2nd floor room… (that was his usual place) I tried everything I could… showed him to the doc kept him warm… yet he died… he was only 2 months old too.. up until to this day I feel like I failed as a friend/companion… although hope u r feeling alright…
My mom's cat died around 2 to 3 years ago (granted, she was around 13-16 years). She was having trouble breathing so my mom took Linstrum (her cat) to the vet and found out there that Linstrum had water in her lungs so the vet gave my mom some meds to give to the cat. After a few weeks, if I'm not mistaken, her breathing went back to normal and it was over, or so we thought. After a few days Linstrum started to behave a bit strange like not bothering to go outside, not eating like she used to, and just plain unmotivated for much. Her last days were spent cuddling with my mom. On the final night my mom practically spent the whole night petting Linstrum. She died with her paws wrapped around my mother's hand. She was one of the sweetest cats once she got to know you, otherwise she'd hide until you went away. She lived a good life.
The one about the swan that lost her eggs. She was a wild animal that should’ve been left to peacefully raise her chicks. Instead the humans ruined that for her. The line “forgive me my egg” makes me tear up. She tried so hard and failed yet when offered the opportunity to be freed she accepts yet still feels guilty. As though she is leaving her one intact egg. She feels guilty for needing to care for herself. She feels bad that she can’t deal with the humans actions.
The shark hit me the hardest. They are one of my favorite animals, and to see them finally portrayed as happy, caring, and nice creatures. To see them pass like that really had me in tears.

I love how in Black Cats you can hear the anger in the Reaper's voice when he says cruel in response to being told they straight up murdered the poor Cat!😓
It’s quite nice seeing Death portrayed as it’s original mythos. Modern Media has always portrayed being relating to death as villains or enemies and Death is no exception. In his original mythology, Death is simply a being who guides those to the Afterlife, and has been said to be comforting. He doesn’t judge the souls he is guiding since it’s not his duty to, and the reason why he carry’s a large scythe is because he was seen as a farmer gathering souls, he doesn’t actively kill people to take souls, just waits nearby to help the poor souls who don’t know where to move on. Death isn’t a bad guy, he’s simply just doing his job, no ill intent. Just doing the job he was assigned to do.
One thing I've ALWAYS loved about this comic was how much Life and Death appreciated the other. They have such genuine respect for the other. I loved the chapter where they switched duties to understand the other better
It always shocks me how people can harm animals on purpose. It breaks my heart to a point where I just can't be anything but sad. So many kittens and cats that could have a warm and safe place to live... I'm crying so hard, it's just so cruel...
Honestly, most of these problems are caused by low funding. Cats are always a nuisance as they multiply quickly and need expensive surgeries to neuter them, as well as "popular" breeds that people want to buy can no longer live without humans. Many cats are left outside because nobody wants them, and it would be a huge money sink to give them away.
“Dying is apart of life . . . You do not leave life, you follow it into the next chapter” that scene had me sobbing- they really ended this on a damn high note

The..."but I died." From the dog just...it got me thinking about my old dog. Remembering the fact that I've spent my past few birthdays doing nothing but just mourning to have her back.
"You do not leave life, you follow it into the next chapter". Those words can seem so simple, yet riddling at the same time, they are able to take us into deep thoughts such as "what is life", or "what's my purpose here?", but those riddles are what make both life, and death, so charming. Thank you for those words of wisdom, and for the memories that I'll cherish for life, and after...
2:00 “they hit me on purpose,” It’s heartbreaking, but it really happens. Black cats are sadly seen as unlucky, or as a curse, and some people actually kill them on purpose. It doesn’t only happen to black cats, too. It’s just more common.
And by ending their life they literally get bad luck and bad karma for the mistake even though black cats aren't a curse.... That's why I find some people dumb
I don’t undarstand why people see so bad black cats and say that they are unlucky and stuff. I have a cat (black of course) named lucy and since we got her, we had somehow better day when lucy was with us, even when something bad happens

I see death as an anti-hero, a good protector of the dead and guardian of good in is scary way. Like batman
Death from the Discworld books is a good example for how to make him work as a character.

And I couldn’t attend any of bean or shimba’s funeral because I am at another place, so far away.
He's always right beside you. You gave him his second chance. I had 2 guinea pigs of my own. I know the pain, but they are always right beside you for eternity because you loved him when no one else would ❤
Things like this
Vets being absolutely awesome and saving pets from bad owners
It just makes me smile
They are wonderful people
Being a vet must be so hard
But also sometimes it has to be really rewarding
To be able to help pets like that
Sometimes really sad, sometimes really happy
These comics are so beautifully and creatively written
“its been a week”
“please say hello”
bro that hit’s me at the spot where is hurts most.
I like the series, but I think “32 minutes and 40 seconds of crying” probably would also work as a title 😂 very good and emotional series
32 minutes and 40 seconds of heart shattering beautiful art
Yep
I skipped some that made me cry so much-
"You do not leave life, you follow it to the next chapter"
That's gotta be my most favorite quote ever, and it's just from an online comic that I've been trying to find out the title of(I'm always confused with the chapters so I really wanted to know the title. It's helped me a lot tbh)
Loving Reaper. It's on Webtoon.
The emotion the voice actors put into the characters, especially the animals; they hit me right in the feels, making me feel like they were actually speaking out their pain and suffering
THIS WAS LITERALLY NON STOP CRYING THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH I THOUGHT THIS WAS GONNA BE SOMETHING CUTE AND FUNNY ABOUT THE GRIM REAPER BUT INSTEAD IT WAS 34 MINUTES AND 8 SECONDS OF TEARS.
I know..
Me too….had to crying from the first 3 seconds all the way to the end
“Maybe I was a bad dog”… “no you just happend to love bad people” that part had me in tears 😭 😭
"Me is the death, but don't be scared!"
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *cries*
Never mind that part, every part had me in tears
god. it's not a lot of stuff that can make me get all choked up and cry but. this managed it. it really did. and that's good... i'd forgotten how... good it feels to have cried and just. let it all out. thank you for dubbing this. all of it it. thanks.
I cried
Really their manner of speaking was too good… like they know how and what the character feels… I nearly cried and the thing I watched this countless times and yet it finds a way to make me cry 😭
Omg i relate to this thing so much 10:40 “Sorry for the sounds, Reality can be cruel.”
Relate?!
