is there a trick for saving patterns...everything worked as should except patterns didn't load ....could n ever get more than o ne square to illuminate in the pattern editor..despite having sequence deselected......
I know this is a year old post, but for those that having same problem saving patterns. You need to press Shift and double click with mouse to save, Alt+click deletes pattern. One annoying thing, there is no way to resave same pattern, you need to delete first and save it again after changes
Hi, you can build an Instrument Rack of multiple octaves of drum racks, using Key ranges, and Midi Pitch devices per instrument to drop the note value to the right range.. imgur.com/a/CLxl2Ja
The part relating push 2 is very instructive.
Nice video!! Easy to understand. Thanks!

Is there a way to extract the MIDI? What did you use to record your Ableton video? Is this a screen record app or is this something Quicktime can do?

Absolutely. And then you can use the random midi effect to randomized the octave.
