Wow , I said , wow , not sure what you have invested money wise , but this buggy is absolutely awesome . Every detail , people inside , moving arms , shifter , articulating fog lights , garbage bags in the back , like I said , the little details all help to create a bigger picture . I love this rig . Thanks for sharing this great truck . I am a fan .
So cool that the driver can actually move w/ the steering wheel and gear shifts and everything. Even the front foglights also flip up and down. A lot of mod has been done to this rig. Nice work!
Amazing work, loved the scene with the bad winch point and truck sliding down, the shaky camera for that scene just made it. A true pleasure to watch this magic happen!

The flipping fog lights are done with a bowden, pls. check this out: ruclips.net/video/MrZ2Y0sc9zo/видео.html The rotating steering wheel was much more difficult as there is not enough space behind the dashboard for a servo. No it's any original Japanese car's 80's blue metalic - but I don't know which one anymore... so it's professional car paint. Tried o mix this color from Tamiya assortment, painted it, finished it and at the end both Tamiya coulors didn't become friends and it's end was a disaster 🙄
The more videos of these things I watch the more I really wanna get involved and buy a truck of my own. Anyone who sees this who can point in the direction of the best spot to order from and what to look for that would greatly appreciated...
Hi Dallin, an Arduino reads the signals of forward/reverse and shift channel. It controls two tiny servos for the x/y moves of the stick. Anything in between is software. The Arduino is hidden in the driver seat. Pls. check also this vid from my "rubbish channel": ruclips.net/video/PzS_Ic4BnPc/видео.html

Salut Monsieur, this hardtop is custom made out of the standart hardtop from RC4WD. How it's made: www.rockcrawler.de/thread/33668-hilux-4-door-lwb-hochglanzprojekt/?pageNo=1
Gear shift: Arduiono reads CH2 forward/reverse and CH3 1st/2nd gear. A program controls two servos via PWM signal. One servo for horizontal movement and a 2nd servo for vertical movement. Check the built report (link in description box) for pictures. The steering wheel is realized with a sailing servo mounted behind the glove box. A skew toothed gearbox (self made) transfers the turning movement to the steering wheel. The servo is simply connected in parallel to CH1 (steering servo). So it's a 100% mechanical solution.
Bonjour Monsieur, it's from RC4WD, but cut. Check the pictures..... www.rockcrawler.de/thread/33668-hilux-4-door-lwb-hochglanzprojekt/?highlight=Hochglanz
