- I recap my 1st Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1k attempt back in 2011. There were lots to overcome and plenty of obstacles in the way, trying to keep me from accomplishing this certified ride.

I agree... Safety first.. if it's not enjoyable it's not worth it.. hell I can't drive a car 19-20 straight.. I personally think like you guys. I need a destination, a goal... A place to go.. my dream vacation is to Gettysburg battlefield. I have a history degree and love these type places. I'm planning to go this July..
I hope u make it to Gettysburg.. that has to be a cool/historic spot
my 2 sons and myself are planning out 1st Iron Butt maybe in March . They have been trying for a couple of years now to get me to do it with them . Well I'm finally giving in and going to try it on my 2015 Ultra Limited .

When I first started watching you guys you used to Chow Down on five patty burgers I've always wondered if you ever had a moonshine burger from Moonshine Illinois it's not too far from the Wabash Cannonball Bridge I've always wondered if that's why you were there?
LoL... we were going to moonshine store to get a burger, but they were closed the day we were in the area, Sunday I believe. Still trying to get there. Thank you for watching.
So I have my first confirmed SS 1k in 2019 .
Just mail in my second SS 1k after holding the paperwork for 18 months . I still have a 3 rd to mail in from 8 months ago, maybe I will get the last one sent off soon.
I can't tell you how many times I got to my room after a long work day, and the key not work.

We didn't get them. That's all negotiated when the company buys the rooms. I didn't get a single point from work overnights.
