My husband and I live in a 980 sf villa, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We find having that second bathroom very helpful, especially when we have guests. As a senior citizen, the only thing I’d change about this house is to put in a walk-in shower where the tub is, in the primary bathroom.
This house looks great! I’m with you on having a shower instead of a tub in the en suite. The only other changes (small ones not changing the plan) would be to make the outdoor steps deep enough to accommodate a walker and to screen in at least a portion of the porch to keep the bitey bugs out.
The outside is perfect. I will change to a stackable washer and dryer. Living room and kitchen. Good. I don’t think there’s a need for two big bathrooms. I will change the tub to be a huge shower. Also I would have a small half bath for guest to use. Also a walk-in closet would be great. Then it would be perfect. Thanks
I love this floor plan and the flow is great. Changes I would make would be to make all the rooms a little bigger, add a walk in pantry to the kitchen and take out the bath in the master bathroom and make it a stand up shower big enough to have a shower chair in it. I can’t manage to climb into a bath even to shower now. I am retired and very crippled so I want room to move about in a wheelchair. Do you have a plan to suit a disabled person? 😊
Agree about the shower. And the pantry. I built a small house and insisted that there be no big tub in the master bath. It was a good decision. My house is small but the master bath is wheelchair friendly. The pantry is huge and the kitchen is small. I also insisted on a garage. not a fan of unloading groceries in the rain. Also provides extra storage. I have a large back porch. More like a lanai. Very happy here.
Although very small scale, it is so nice to find a house design with a defined foyer rather than walking directly into the midst of the living room, and to have bathtubs (particularly in the ensuite) which for someone who hates showers, is becoming quite a rarity these days. Overall, it exhibits a very good use of space to which I would add only a couple of minor tweeks (in the fantasy world where this is my home). I am really impressed with the offerings of your company, and delighted to have found your channel and to have become a subscriber.
I would add a 2 car garage, a nice attic or basement for storage. And a linen closet. Maybe a nice coat closet by the entryway. I would change the front door. This one is ugly. And my biggest problem would be what color to paint all these rooms. All this white is not an option.
Tiny, tiny closets, no pantry for food storage, but at least there's someplace to put the vacuum and cleaning supplies. No storage space for toys in a kids room. And the kitchen is tiny, only one person could work in there. And no linen closet for towels, hygiene products or extra TP.
A house isn't functional if it doesn't have storage and space for your clothes. What if you live in a cold climate? You need closet space for seasonal clothing.
I agree. Not a functional house at all. Not even real closets. Just built in cupboards. No sign of a HVAC system. I don’t think this designed for building in the USA.
The first small home I truly like! Only change I would make is an airlock entrance. Opening the front and having the living room right there is too much exposure. The kitchen is flawless!
I love the outdoor living spaces. I love that there is actually a kitchen that has counter and cupboard space. I like the separation between the living room and kitchen. In the primary suite , I’d do a walk in shower,. Great design.
Well Done. I would changed the laundry room to include a dryer, but good that it works as a mud room as well. Loved the spaciousness of the living room and though the kitchen is small, it works well. Wrap around porch: dreamy. Good design and I would love to live in a home like that.
I love it ,it really is a perfect design & is it strange to be happy that the laundry room is actually inside the house and that the bathroom has a tub.
I know this is computer generated so much of what is shown can't actually exist as shown, but I'm baffled re kitchen lower cupboards at the corner. The door seems to disappear into the drawer on the adjacent side. Perhaps the doors were rendered wider than they actually are and they ran out of space. I would have preferred to see an actual one of these houses that has been built. That is way more accurate.
That is so beautiful , the space perfect and love the kitchen ,everything about it is perfect. I would love to live in a home like that providing it is not expensive...the landscape is stunning...
In small houses like that, I don’t think 2 bathrooms are necessary. I’d make the master bath into a walk in closet so that you could store extra things such as Christmas decor etc. I love the wrap around porch. I had one like that on my 2nd house. 🥰
This place is wonderful with the exception of the front door. I don’t like front doors that open immediately into the sitting room. You open the door and bam there’s the sofa. There is no place for guests to take off and leave their shoes. One could take their coats and hand them in the back entrance though.
Actually this would be a nice apartment, duplex/Brownstone or condo. I think a house should have a bit bigger footprint and have more land around it. It doesn't have to be two stories but you should be able to turn a spare room into whatever you need and be able to put a pool or a playground or a garden in your backyard. I do love the _look_ of this little house, especially the wrap around porch.
@@chrispavlich9656 its actually a tub/shower. Which I also prefer . The tub is also a jacuzzi tub. Not all of us are crippled and need walk in showers. I have a walk in shower and really regret it now. I miss my jacuzzi tub
I would like the hall to be a little wider just in case I need a wheelchair and the side porch could be use to make the kitchen wider for entertainment as we know people love to be in the kitchen 😊, no bath 🛀 in the master shower only people. Love the home otherwise 😮
Very nice. Although the living room is tiny but the kitchen is perfect. Almost Myself, I would rather have a door directly from the kitchen to the laundry room and back door. Perhaps the sink could be moved to a peninsula between the kitchen and dining area, and a door way could go into the mudroom/laundry, closing off that end of the porch...? Also, I think it's unnecessary to have two baths in such a small house. I'd rather dispense with one, push the left out to extend as far as the porch railing, put the remaining one between the two back rooms (with closets in each room leveling the walls) and add a few feet to the living room. I DO like that the bathrooms both have the window in the shower. They used to do this a lot in the older (1940-1950's) baths. Besides allowing natural light into the shower (which are usually dark, no matter the light source), it does much to help circulate air and prevent mold from growing. It's really the smartest place to put it. My late mother-in-law had this in her house and I found, when I stayed, that I really appreciated it. The natural light while showering is so nice. Plus, it I absolutely hate when the window is near the toilet. I also like the extra large windows in the front rooms. Could a small coat closet be added behind the front door? That would be nice.
For a single person, couple or family with one child they could get by sharing one bathroom and use that second for much-needed storage space. Otherwise, there just isn't enough. Cute house and I like it that it is a single story, not one that has a steep narrow dangerous stairway up to a loft.
The one thing I would change is make the window next to the kitchen cabinets a patio door for easy access to outside. And perhaps eliminate the laundry room door.
Just about perfect except for the bathroom windows. I got a thing about windows in the shower. At least make it the high, little wide ones that are just for light. Otherwise I love it.

What about a garage? I’m single and don’t want anything one to know when or when I am not home.
@@kennaevans1187, you can surely add your own garage on the property where you would put this house.
I love the tub.
@@mecc4129, I get that, but for many of us who have limited mobility, a bathtub is simply not accessible.
At last, the perfect plan, landscaping and decor! You hit the mark! Superior!!👍👍❤️
Thank you Margaret. Your feedback is appreciated
Add more closet space wood stove part porch closed in and basement you have perfect house.
This is one of the most perfect house designs I've ever seen. I would live on that porch, and only come inside after dark.

Where's the storage??? Vac, Mops, Groceries, Extra kitchen electronics, Linens, More than a few clothes? His and Hers? Stuff in general?

Oh my goodness, I have found it, this is the one, I'm in love! Everything just fits perfectly.
Thank you Sherrie
The music was just too repetitious. Give us a break!
Love the size of the porch!👌 Gorgeous house!🥰 I need this one!🙏
I don't like the japanese styled roof, but otherwise a nice design.
This is the perfect retirement house for me. You did a great job! 👍
Thank you Katherine. Thank you for watching

That's funny. I would said just the opposite: I think the living room is too small and the kitchen is perfect.
There are stackable washer/-dryer sets. I might have a problem with that due to being short, but still workable.
The washer is probably a 2in1 that washes and drys- very European.
Wooooooow it's lovely fantastic awesome it's easy to clean and mantin matters the most
What is the construction cost for this villa
Perfect for me
I love the design!
Absolutely beautiful! I love the porch. Rooms are perfectly sized!
Lovely. We are in our early sixties. This is amazing. In a few years this is a perfect layout. Wonderful wrap around porch.

So... where do I put the vacuum cleaner? Toolbox? linen? The rest of my clothes? I have a house like this and there is no storage whatsoever.
Nice design but the house lacks STORAGE for cleaning supplies, ironing board and iron, coats, boots, laundry detergent etc.
Not small at all looks very spacious to me I could live with that ❤
YES! A laundry room. Beautiful home. Please finish the rap around porce! You forgot the other side.
I would love to know as to where they build these homes, as a Senior for the wife & me it would be great.

What is the estimated price to build this model ?
This’l is the perfect house for vacation especially those seniors from abroad but I like3 bedroom 😂😂😂watching from canada 🇨🇦
I didn't see hanging space for clothes in the main bedroom. Did I miss it or is there none?

Nice but opening the front door into the living room, never liked that design. I have always preferred a foyer or vestibule included into the design.
The kitchen needs a pantry. Otherwise it is a cute house.

Finally a house with tubs and no showers. Beautifully designed.
Not everyone is a fan of a tub, especially when you’re older. I never fancied sitting in dirty bath water.

Who is the builder are this home design built overseas. Can the builder built one here in AZ.
Perfect, where is it and how can we get one?
BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT!! I love it! Maybe I missed it, but where is it located? Where is the builder?
Love the porch!
Beautiful perfect for me, just showers no tubs
How much is this tiny home?
Perfect layout and design!!
Please do a design with a covered porch on the back of the house. Thank you in advance.
How much ft is the roof slope from top of the side pillars?
Are you going to give plan for my guest house
is there a web site for Akashi Design to purchase this floor plan for someone who reside in usa and wants to build this house?

Lovely. Bungalows are so functional for seniors. Except, I still need book case space & where's my computer desk go? Otherwise, really nice
It says 3 bedrooms but I only saw 2.
Wonderful little home. I would just need a place to put a furnace. I didn't see a utility space.
Where doyou hang the guest coats?

So lovely but what about safety
Nice music to go along with the perfect design. But...I too would rather a shower than a tub.
Is this filmed with a drone? Going down the hallway, I noticed there was no reflection in the mirror.
1,100 sq ft isnt exactly “tiny”… very nice design tho!
The backsplash has got to go…and not enough kitchen cabinets….doors are pretty though….
Please tell cost of this design
The wrap around porch gives the house great curb appeal.
So Beautiful!
This is an amazing house . Everything you need . And so well designed. I absolutely love it .
SO BEAUTIFUL !!!
It's a charming little house, but it doesn't seem to have good drainage for rain landing on the roof.
How many bedroom n washroom
