In this my new way of filming? i will obviously still have B-Roll but this for Test Drives would be worth it in my opinion. More POV shots of the VW Polo GTI 2.0 Test Drive and other cars in general.

Great car, put 45 000km on mine and ready to sell it... aii after the software vw did on the car i dont like it anymore
It is, yeah all polo 6 AWs I’ve driven have software issues. You’d think they would be fixed. Nope
You know a lot of Polo GTI owners got VW to roll back that software. Unless your car is a 2020 onwards you can't get a roll back. Only 2019 & 2020

Once you are in sport. Its like its leaking. But when on eco full tank can last about 2 weeks from my experience

It is heavy but really not that bad, I can get about 400kms off a full tank. But its also just a 40l tank. Too small for a car with a 2.0

Polo, no thank you. I was about to buy one and the day before I did I witnessed one get stolen right infront of my eyes, God was giving me signs.
What a traumatic experience even though it wasn’t even my car getting stolen, but just witnessing a car getting stolen was enough to make me not sleep for 2 weeks straight, decided to go for a totally different brand.
Everytime I see someone driving a Polo I get worried for them, I don’t even park my car next to a Polo because I am scared I will walk upon the thieves trying to steal it and startle them.
I see a polo, I avoid being close to it at all costs.
Totally valid. But the other side of that: I’ve only driven and owned 2 Polo AWs. Never had issues, thats not to say its not a dangerous car to own. But there is light at the end of the tunnel for others, its not really a one sided story.
But as i always say to others, where you live and the places you frequent counts a lot when it comes to buying a car
@@PheloMngCars you are absolutely correct, some are lucky, some not so much, I do know a few people who have owned Polos for years and never had an incident.
When I was about to buy one, I had many people telling me not to due to its high risk reputation. Ofcourse I didn’t want listen and I didn’t want them to steer me away from the car I wanted.
But let me tell you, once you witness it with your own eyes, and I am not talking about watching a video of a polo getting stolen, but seeing it right infront of your eyes 10 meters away, it will change your perception about Polos completely. I was put off after seeing that incident.
Another thing you mentioned was that the safety of your car depends on the areas you go to, and I agree, but here in Gauteng it doesn’t even matter anymore, whether you are in a low-income area or affluent areas they will steal it if they want it.
Look at Pretoria east , nice area but it has become a shopping mall for car criminals, Midrand, Centurion. These places are notorious for car thefts sadly.
