It's not actually an IFV but an APC. This old thing won't be used to storm the trenches but behind the lines. They sure have better protection than a golf cart or car.
It may be a old vehicle but it still has amazing cross country performance, offers protection from weather and basic small arms. It's really easy to drive and repair. It can carry troops, equipment, wounded or ammunition across rough terrain much faster than a truck or car. Its also 300 free vehicles, each with a 20mm automatic cannon.
Even back then Europe production was higher quality than Russia. Still has some use to it. Speed is still good and can withstand 20mm. Not to bad for 50 year old equipment. Look at the gephard aa gun. Still reliable too.
Cool vehicles. Ukraine has so many different types of armor from all over the world I wonder what the mechanics think from jumping from platform to platform
Haha it’s obvious this guy has been learning English off google translate or something as he’s talking like a robot, I’ve noticed this with many Asians talking English like a robot as they are copying the app lol
I wonder whos is the source that claim this as the best APC Ukraine has got? It was great at the 1960's and 70's, but to day those are worned and unmodern. Still good for what it is, but can not possible reach the level of Bradley, CV90, BMP-3 or even Marder. I think the PBV 302 is comparable with the dutch version of M113 (called YPR 765).

Probably not the best. But they will be very useful in transporting troops, equipment, wounded and so on. It can also swim. So potentially the donated pbv302 can take around 3000 troops in one go over the Dnipro river, give some cover and then get more soldiers within minutes. without the need to build bridges or things like that. The best thing is the amount of around 300, Ukraine needs a lot of everything and 300 is a good number for these types of vehicles and it will make an impact even if Ukraine will need a lot more.
@@xergiok2322 Well, I guess we could discuss whether PBV 302 is an APC or an IFV/AFV or if IFV/AFV should be a subcategory to APC as the actually do the same + a litle more. But I get your point.

I saw the original video, ammo for the 20mm came from Croatian donated (former YU) Praga M53/59 with 'Zastava' yellow head 20mm projectile....
Ukraine was getting ammunition from Sweden too.
@@satanihelvetet yes but it is compatible, and way cheeper
@@nostromokg How can it be cheaper then free? Do they pay Ukraine to take it?
Good job.
it's nice to see vintage and antiques. Gun on top is bolt action or flint lock ????
Ivan prefers to drive to battle inside a scoobydoo van and golf cart instead 😂
That vehicle is from the 60'

Bradleys, CV90s etc. are IFVs, not APCs.

@@xergiok2322 The PBV 302 is not meant to be close to the frontline like the CV90 so it's more of an APC than a IFV.
