My driver Jake had one airborne after hitting a berm in 29 palms. He yelled “hold on to your helmet corporal” as he hit it. I thought we were going to land hard. Nope, the suspension on that thing is took all the tonnage softer than if we landed in water.
I like the new way they get them onboard, no more threading the needle in high seas.

I’m surprised that they don’t have at least similar armament to the AAV7’s. a .50 and 40mm seem like a great mix for fire support… These things look even bigger, I would think mounting a 30mm remote weapon station shouldn’t be that difficult? Even weight wise, it doesn’t look like it would affect it that much.
For a low cost Maintenance and repair of the US Navy Ship, USA or the US Navy should have a NASSCO type Repair and Maintenance shipyard in Subic Bay Philippines

Sorry but yet another mistake! The CRRC's should be "Easy in/out, ducted engines". The outboard engine is the new Dodo. Think Skidoo!. No fear of ingress/egress. Sound suppression a plus. Low profile eng/throttle/steerage. Can be aft/amids. Like an RB17 w/out clutter.

Waste of steel and aluminum, it can't adefend itself! YES as a BB61 GM FC, I know how to fight ships, submarines land targets. LCS is a unnecessary Wastage. In a austere fiscal environment.
