That 201 looks fantastic! Well, both cars look great 😍 I have a DN01 Zahhak arriving in December, so that is the closest I'll come to a 201 , and I really look forward to get my hands on it, as the only rwd buggy I've had is the vintage Sand Rover 😆 All the best, Toby
Hi Mark cheers for watching the video , the clear gear cover comes from a complete clear gearbox housing found on the the very first batches of dt02 super fighter G’s. They do come up now and again nuts they are fairly scarce. I have the clear box on my dt03 but I put the gear cover on my dt02 because I thought it looked cool ;) thanks fella
Hi there, the front tyres I’m using are for Astro or carpet tracks they are Schumacher yellow compound low profile cut staggers with no tyre inserts. The rear of the TRF201 are still on pin type fit wheels but I do remember putting an adjustable alloy hex clamp 12mm hex on the rear and using Schumacher rear wheels on it.
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 Thanks for the info. Your TRF201 looks awesome. I have a boxed kit ready to build and have just been thinking about where to acquire more wheels and tires for when I drive. If you recall, were the hex adapters anything special or a pretty much bog standard clamping hex adapter?
Hi Rich , thanks for comment. The clear gearboxes were found on the very first Dt02s the super fighter G. They were later changed to all black. I have a couple of clear gear boxes so I decided to use the the clear gearbox cover on my sand viper as a finishing touch. Sometimes the gearboxes come up on eBay and places like that , just have to keep looking. :)

Absolutely stonking video my friend, really enjoyed that 🤩🤩🤩
Thanks Glenn , glad you enjoyed it and hopefully it was of some use as well. Looking forward to seeing your 201 soon :) take care
Awesome, Andy! That was a two-in-one for me, good valuable info both about the 201 and the DualRidge, was a pleasure to watch, lots of learning!
Thank you for the comment Mschdk glad you found the video informative and useful , thanks for supporting the channel
The trf 201 is such a race car, I like your dt 02 you spent some money on it, it looks fantastic,😀😀😀
DT-02 for bashing, maybe fun club racing. The TRF201 fr racing. I like both.
Hi Pablo I’ve used the DT02 for racing and had some good results , the TRF201 should leave it well behind on track though. I like both as well
Where did you find the clear gear cover on the DT mate. Would love to find one. 👍

If you ever think of selling it, be prepared for a slap, to put your brains back in place. 😂😂
Did you sell this car already? I’m looking for trf buggy’s
No I’ve not sold it , it’s still in my collection , many thanks
What tires are you running on the fronts of the DT-02MS and TRF201? Also, do you have a hex adapter for the rear of the TRF201?
