    You do know we don't use the abbreviation "ATSI" anymore!!!! 😡

      Yes I do. However, many teachers still refer to this area using this term. I thought long and hard... My goal was to learn and to share as much as I could. I did my best to share that knowledge.

      Regardless of how many non-Indigenous teachers still use it, it is offensive to us Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This is not a good argument to justify your use.
      Abbreviating two diverse and distinctive cultural groups is a terrible way of ignoring our identity. Disappointed in your response...

      Thank you for sharing with me. As I say in the video, still learning. All I can say is I'm doing my best and still developing my understanding, knowledge and awareness. Know that it was not my intention to cause offense. It was my intention to learn, to grow and to share as much as I could as I went.
