Wow, this podcast gave me so many cool ideas! I never thought about using ChatGPT to help with lesson planning and making it tailor-fit to my style. It's great to know I can also train it to match the needs of my students, especially when it comes to different learning levels. Plus, the idea of using it for quick admin tasks like drafting letters to parents is such a time-saver. Loving these tips on how AI can make teaching more creative and fun! Can't wait to try them out.

Can you speak to the ethics of feeding the database with personal information what about others privacy?

I use it to aid in student self reflection. I would give them instruction to input in ChatGPT, observe the results, give a piece of work i have marked using same criteria and then ask the to reflect and journal on the following prompts: 1) what two important lessons did you learn from the exercise 2) how did this exercise aid in the development of the skills 3) how will this knowledge impact how you approach future assignments/tasks in and outside of this course ( tertiary level)

It bothers me that there will be a box that provides "the truth". 🤔 "The truth" is something that humans debate back and forth. For instance, I believe that Whites can be victims of racism, but some dictionaries have changed the definition of "racism" due to pressure from political groups. 😱
