Aren't the early oil caps prone to breaking? I have an 00 and my buddy had an 02 and both our caps broke. His broke while driving and I checked mine and found it to be partially cracked. I used a Z32 OEM cap and it held up for years until I got a J's Racing metal cap.
@@brandonblackman9008 The only ones I’ve seen that are broken or from someone using a hammer or a big pair of channel locks, etc. The OEM cap is actually a really high-quality cap and I think one of the nicest looking caps. We sell brand news in the store for those with damaged caps.
Customer now thinking, "but where is my super cool oil cap ?" I like how you simply decided it was garbage. I mean it was. But maybe the customer would had want it back and not in the bin
I’ve been watching your videos for some years now and I’m still very impressed with your attention to detail. You guys are awesome 😎😎😎
As always, incredible work. I really wish you guys were closer. Kudos from Louisiana!
That seat looks amazing, I had no idea these parts were even still available 👍👍👍.
Nice wheels and fitment. Would be nice to paint the valve cover the same color as the wheels.

Gorgeous ap1 s2000 there
I wanna sign up for the seat bottom foam replacement and leather restoration please!!
Would love to see the dyno numbers on the Ap1 with the turbo??😁 Thanks John!!
he has a few builds like that on the channel over the years
That’s beautiful 👌🏼
Haha my S2000 is in the same storage facility 🤫
How does the fx300 compare to the fx350? Which would you recommend for a stock daily driver?
Where were you able to find a new seat cushion? I have searched for one.
You can still get the lower seat cushion from Honda, but is like $400
It’s a new lower frame with attached cushion. You still have to put you leather cover over it
@@chrisleake5433 thank you, I will have to look it up again.
any idea what headlights those are? love them!
What hp / tq numbers did you make on the dyno?
Is the foam for the seats still available from Honda? Mines had seen better days.

@@brandonblackman9008 I’ve never had problems with them breaking , only problems are ‘ mechanics’ damaging them. We see 100s of S2000 annually also.
You would certainly know since you work on so many of them. It was possible someone over tightened them. Thanks for the reply!

@@LHTPerformance I appreciate the response. Thank you John
Do you have the specs of the wheels?
First, had to bring it back 😂

Just curious…where do you find new S2000 steering wheels? Mine only has 37,000 miles, but the leather is really shiny.
Get a good leather cleaner And a stiff Brushel brush

Where did you find the seat foam inserts??
@@chrisH-uv5wx Direct from Honda. They are a little pricey though. But worth it.
