- How to install stainless steel cable railing to create a great looking and strong outdoor deck railing. In this video I demonstrate how I utilized cable railing for the deck rebuild project using "Rail Easy" components from Atlantis Rail Systems. This is the second video in this complete cable railing installation video series. Scroll down to see the link to the other cable railing build RUclips video.

Building this cable rail system was simple and straightforward. The additional tools and template, provided in the cable installation kit, were really helpful. I did not have to build a custom template to drill my cable mounting holes nor did I have to worry about having the correct size wrenches and drill bits. Just about everything I needed to install the cable railing came with the Rail Easy system.
In this video I show the cable rail installation using lag screw cable connectors as well as screw-in connectors that also serve as tensioners. See the previous video where I show the cable rail installation using another type of cable connecter and tensioner.
The finished cable railing turned out looking fantastic and I am very happy with it.

Great video. I like that you don't need to use a pneumatic crimper to do this installation. The buckles look very classy as well. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you
Excellent and extremely helpful video!!
Thanks Ryan, great to hear you appreciate the cable rail installation demonstration.
This is second video showing the installation of cable railing for the deck build project. Make sure to check out the other railing install video to see the trick I show to save a crimped compression sleeve. The video link is in the video description.
To busy looking for my liking. I like super-sano. Anything with a hidden tension system is better for aesthetics. Price goes up usually for the better ones though.
The hardware with this cable railing was easy to work with and tension the cables. I think the finished appearance looks good to. Hidden tensioners sound interesting though.
@@MrKistel the system you used looks fine in my opinion for longer runs. For short runs where there isn’t a corner post it might get a bit busy looking though some like the industrial look (dare I say nautical boat rigging look😝). There are some cheap hidden systems on Amazon but the reviews aren’t so encouraging. If ones cable railing is being done to local code and is at a deck height that’s significant, then function is far more of a priority than form.
Unfortunately the cable railing show the leveling or straigh of the decking, i know nothing is perfect but if your dont use a chalkline from corner to corner or ends the cable will show the lines curves or some high or bottom.
And how do you cut the cables with ✂️?
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I like the look of these fittings better than turn buckles. It looks less "industrial" IMO. One question....it doesn't look like you tried to turn any corners with the cable, just straight lines and then you just did shorter runs on the other sides. Correct?
I terminated the rail cables into the post that makes the 90° corner. I have another video in this deck build video series showing the installation of the shorter side (RUclips link in video description). I believe you can make a turn with this cable rail system using two post to make two 45° turns. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Where do I buy those ? and a list what I need
There is a list of the cable railing components in the video description area.
Where did you buy the cable and supplies?

@@MrKistel would love to get you to earn on my purchase. Pls. send me your email address so I can attach photos and dimensions of my project so that you can price it out for me complete with the necessary tools and drilling guide/template. Cable Bullet already gave me the total cost including shipping and was hoping buying thru you/Amazon will cost me less. Thanks!
U say tool kit come with it. Comes with what?
The cable railing tool kit came with items including wrenches drill bits.
