A Singapore Airlines A380 landed in darwin on tuesday due to medical emergency diverson. so cool seeing one in darwin as we dont get 4-engined planes much but a bit unfortunate on why it was here
Oh interesting! I didn’t know that
One of your best reviews yet mate 👏 I'm flying SQ premium economy MEL-SIN-LHR and back in September so this review has got me even more excited for that!
Thank you so much! I’m glad to hear that. Sounds awesome!
I saw this and instantly clicked on this because I am on this flight, and couldn’t find a video about it! Awesome stuff buddy!
Thank you so much :)
Thank you for mentioning the early check-in available at Jewel. We found this very useful for our recent flight from Singapore to Sydney.
You’re very welcome! I’m very happy to hear I could help :D
I remember doing a stop here when I've been to Australia from Gran Canaria: Las Palmas-Barcelona-Singapore-Sydney
Nice! I’d love to go to Gran Canaria!
good report
Thanks!
Nicely done! Liked and subbed
Thank you so much!
Cool video! Not long now until I fly this aircraft!
Thanks mate!
Great length video. 👌
Very nicely done
Thank you so much!
Very good vlog this is my first time watching you, I’m going to subscribe and watch more trip reports from you!😊
Thank you so much :D
Amazing video im flying singapore a380 in november from sydney to singapore then the a350 to london and back
Thank you! Awesome, that should be amazing!

Thank you so much! Hearing that has made my day :)
No worries keep going your amazing.
Another great and informative review mate. Long time I've been on a A380 don't see the economic case for them being so strong in 2023 these days with rising fuel costs and less people travelling with the cost of living but hopefully they keep going for a little more longer!. Changi Jewel sure is an experience checking in at a shopping centre for an international flight! - did the same thing flying back to Perth from Singapore a few weeks back!
Thank you! Yeah! Oh nice! Did you fly with Qantas or SQ?
@@Aviation763 Qantas mate on the A330
Less people travelling? Passenger numbers are booming 👀👀
Finally got around to watching this new Singapore Airlines trip report Hugo! Great that you could do a big international route on the A380 and experience a great airport like Singapore Changi! Hopefully one day you will be able to continue on to Europe as well! I’ve flown SQ a number of times and I do consider it a premium airline - but like you I’d be a bit disappointed with the food offerings on this particular flight. That breakfast looked - well - weird! An option of normal bacon and eggs or pancakes would have been better - as well as the option of a toastie or something after takeoff.
Personally I did not find this video too long, others might but I enjoyed the whole experience from airport to flight.
It was nice the flight attendants took you to the upper deck at the conclusion of the flight. Why did she initially tell you to stop filming?
Once again, your trip reports are getting better and better Hugo - and it’s nice you have finally got the confidence to do a face reveal every now and then!
Happy travels and I am looking forward to your future content! Hopefully you can do a big international flight in business class one day! ✈️
Yeah thank you! Yeah its so good except the catering. I'm happy to hear you didn't mind the length. Not too sure why I could not film there, probably a private crew rest room or something like that. Thank you so much for all of the kind words. Yeah me too!
Gosh, Chiangi Airport looks like a destination all by itself, thanks for showing us round. Not impressed by the food offerings either in the Lounge or onboard but I guess that is the luck of the draw. Thank you for a very thorough review
Yeah it is haha. Your very welcome :D
Changi Airport
Very Well Documented Vlog....Nice Narration and what is more impressive is the attention to detail as you went through airport nothing seems to miss your eye..... Hats off and keep rocking Mate...
Thank you so much! :)
What a nice review keep up the good Work. i am flying to bangkok With singapure a380 soon
Thank you so much! Nice!
good review. you deserve more subscribers.
Thank you so much!
I’m flying economy from London to Singapore on a A380 it’s a 13 hour flight so it’s interesting to see what the cabin is like.
Awesome!
I personally love the long videos
Cool, I’m glad haha
So happy that Singapore airlines has returned there A380s to Melbourne for the first time after COVID 19
Yeah me too!
Nice review, out of all the planes ive been on i still find the A380 the quietest and smoothest
Thank you! Yeah I was surprised at how quiet and smooth it was!
The SQ A359 service SIN-BNE at 0045 is exactly the same. For people who were used to SQ hot towels/menus/eye shades pre-covid, those days are well and truly over. SQ is a basic service now.
Yeah, hopefully they'll start to bring some of that back in the near future.
Indeed, carrot cake in Singapore is vastly different from the ones in the west! Carrot cake is a Singapore special dish. I must say it looked good but the tray looked a bit empty. Good news though, Singapore Airlines is bringing back appetisers and fresh fruit on their meal services from June onwards! Just curious, do you pay for all your flights, including the ones you fly solo? Very comprehensive review, enjoyed watching it till the very end! Safe travels!
Very interesting! Thanks for the info. Thank you so much, I’m happy you liked the review :)
There's no carrot in that carrot cake 😂 only radish
Haha 😂
flying the a380 soon!
Nice!
Hey! Nice trip Report. Back in 2018 I flew on one of these beasts from MEL > SIN. A quick question, why didnt you get the melbourne one, since it started up again recently, it would get more attention. Still good trip report though!
Thank you! Nice! Well at the time they hadn’t restarted flights to Melbourne, and unfortunately it seems they’ll stop at the end of this year (not sure if that is temporary)
@@Aviation763 ah! I Believe they do the A38 Seasonally now
@@itsnot35 yeah, I believe May to October or something like that
Do they hand out amenity kits for economy class? I’ll be taking this flight soon.
Awesome! No I don’t think they do, if they did I would’ve shown it :)
I’m flying from Sydney to Singapore and Singapore to Melbourne both flights on the A380 in economy. I’ve booked the extra leg room seat (42K) for the first leg. How was the flight experience overall please give me some details.
Nice! You should get a great view from that seat. I did summarise the flight experience in the video, but overall it was good, but not 5 star. However I do believe they have made some improvements just recently not long after I took this flight.
Hi Dear .may I know your seat number .as I currently booked for Airbus A380 900 to Dubai .seat number 45a b and c.is this seat closer to the propeller or wing ?
Hi! That along with a lot of other information is in the video and description :)
I hope your foot is alright. Assuming you were by yourself, are you okay?
Thanks, no thankfully I was with my mum and sister. It’s mostly better now thanks :)
i love your accent❤
Thanks haha
Wow such a big airport! :D I think i'd get lost lol. Just a question will you do a video on Air New Zealand (and would it be to Christchurch :) Oh or you could do Emirates A380 to Christchurch its still a short hop but its on an A380 :D
He’s done a business class review on their dash 9 to Auckland. I doubt he needs to go on a daytrip to New Zealand anytime soon, but I’m from Wellington and I have to say if he tried their NEO’s it may just become his favourite airline! (As it became mine) 😊. Have a good night dude
The one on the A380 connects on to Dubai, so he would’ve had to come from our going onwards to Dubai.
Check out my website ;)
@@kiwiflyernz No thats not how It works you can hop on from Chch and go to just Syd or you can carry on to Dubai. Same other way around I've flown on that route before so I would know :)
@@Aviation763 OH I can't Wait!! :)
What was the date of this video??
April 16th was the date of the flight
@@Aviation763cool I also was flying into Sydney Kingsford smith international airport on that day on qf994
And on 24th June I’m flying on MH122 syd-kul can you video that flight for me please??
Did you also feel the turbulence into Sydney on the day??? It was super bumpy for me!!!!!!
@@oscarwyer2771 oh cool! No I didn’t get any turbulence actually. The A380 handled it very well, since someone else I know was on an A330 and apparently turbulence was really bad. I doubt I’ll be able to review that for a while sorry, however hopefully in the next year I’ll at least be able to fly MH from Melbourne!
You sound so young (no hate) do you travel alone????if u do your soooo independent love from SIN
Not internationally yet, just domestically. Thanks!
Thanks I was so curious
You should have asked for another breakfast .. I would have insisted but I’m 76 and have had a lot more flights experience 🙋🏻♀️ you’ll learn I’m sure 😉
Yeah probably, didn’t think about that! Thanks for the tip!
That's a Chinese Raddish Cake for breakfast. wrongly translated into carrots. it is a rather common breakfast dish for the Chinese regions.
Ah interesting! Thanks for letting me know!
@@Aviation763 They actually should mention or call it "Chinese or Singaporean steamed carrot cake" instead to prevent confusion. I don't like it either, it is too bland for my tastes... But proud of you giving it a try!
Sorta an exhausting video. Cut out perhaps 1/2 of the tiny details which aren’t relevant or way too much information !
Yeah I’m ware that was an issue, check out one of my new videos they’re a lot better :D
sounds like jayden woong
You reckon? I’ll take that as a good thing 😂
Are you flying by yourself
Nope, with my mum and sister
First Do you go by yourself on planes
Nope, I was with my mum and sister
Can you please do a face reveal on your instagram please
Probably very soon!
Ok
Next time fly first class
Not everyone has the money mate, especially not a 13 year old!
Adding to this, it’s lucky enough to be onboard an A380!
Personally I like economy reviews far more than business or first. Considering most people go economy, it's nice to see a review from the experience that the majority of us would get.
Great video, Do like flying more regional or more mainstream flights
Normally more mainstream flights but regional can be fun too!
