How To Make The "MOST FLAVORFUL and TENDER" Orange Marmalade Glazed Cornish Hen Recipe

  • This Orange Marmalade Cornish Hen recipe is the easiest to prepare for dinner. For this oven recipe, you’ll have the most flavorful, tender and delicious Cornish Hen dinner ready in 1 hour!
    Orange Marmalade-Glazed Cornish Hen Recipe
    This Recipe is for 2 Cornish Hens
    For seasoning the Cornish Hens:
    2 Cornish hens
    1 tsp johnny’s seasoning salt
    1 tsp Himalayan pink salt
    ½ tsp lemon pepper (salt free)
    Ingredients for the Orange Marmalade Glaze:
    ¾ cup Smucker’s orange marmalade
    ¼ cup coconut flakes
    1 clove garlic (minced)
    1 tsp soy sauce
    1 tsp sesame oil
    What’s in the 9x13 inch pyrex bakeware glass dish?
    I added these vegetables and aromatics herbs for an even more amazing flavor profile.
    ¼ of 1 Onion
    1 stalk of scallion (green onion)
    1 carrot
    1 clove of garlic
    Rosemary
    Thyme
    Red wine vinegar
    Directions:
    Season chicken with johnny’s seasoning salt, himalayan pink salt and lemon pepper seasoning.
    Place Cornish Hen on baking rack over the vegetables and herbs in the pyrex glass dish.
    Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.
    Combine all the ingredients for the Orange Marmalade Glaze and mix well.
    After 1 hour - remove Cornish Hen from oven and baste with Orange Marmalade Glaze.
    Return the Cornish Hen to oven, and broil for 1 - 3 minutes to caramelize the glaze. Pay extra attention at this stage as to not overcook/burn the Cornish Hen.
    Serve and Enjoy!
