    Jason
    You put out the most common sense information on mobile hunting.
    This is my first year mobile hunting and I’ve set up my beast stand and the old school lone wolf sticks almost exactly like yours also have not even tried the tow kick method thanks to you I just give a slight stomp and it’s set.
    You’ve definitely helped me lessen the growing pains in my first season mobile hunting.
    Thanks a ton. 👍🏻

    Jason, Thanks for this video! I reached out with a question for you about a noise I was having with my beast stand a few weeks ago. I wanted to update you, I sent it back to Mario and him and Rick did some testing and found that the Ears on the platform measured out of spec which ended up causing movement between the post and the platform. They replaced the platform and all the hardware, sent me video of them testing it to show that it was fixed and were amazing to deal with. Mario really takes the time to make sure their customers are satisfied, so if anyone ever says that the Beast Gear Team is tough to deal with I doubt it because those guys are fantastic! I thought you may be interested in hearing about the results I had with that! I'm right there with you, the Beast Stand is a Engineering masterpiece!

      I reached out to them after I received my Beast stand because of a water jetting mark on my stand.
      I wasn’t sure what it was until I sent Mario a pic anyhow he said it was a normal but offered to send me another stand if I wanted.
      Unbelievable customer service in my opinion.

      The stealth strips save the seat from rips and shed the water keeping the seat dry. You will be very happy. And such a great stand

    Jason great info as always. I did a lot of the same mods you made to this and your Lone Wolf to my Lone Wolf. I started trying your way of hunting this year after many years of using only climbers. Gotta say, I got pretty close this year, nothing I could legally shoot, but I was on top of some. The only thing I do differently now is I have a 50' long starp to raise and lower my gear. But when I lower my gear to the ground I attacvh the other end to the stand and lower it too. I fell on one of the last steps a few months ago while coming down with the stand on my back and landed on it. Couldn't walk straight for several weeks, not doing that again. Keep up the great work!

      @SamkoTradBow  Год назад

      Great idea about using a long haul line and lowering the stand on the other end! Smart thinking! And glad you were OK from the fall.

      I'm not a fan of toe hooking. It's dangerous, and brutal hard on the stands.

    Went from an Alpha to a Beast stand this year. Also got the mini sticks. I can walk for miles and don’t even know it’s on my back. And hanging it is so easy I can’t even explain it. Worth every penny I spent. I’d it needed. Nope but man it’s nice.

    You can still buy the lone Wolf Assault. It’s just called the Novix Helo now. I believe it’s the same exact stand, they just changed their name when Lone Wolf Custom Gear started up.

      Correct. Different platforms

  • @ALNTV1541
    @ALNTV1541 Год назад +1

    I’m thinking of doing something. I have an XOP Vanish and don’t like the small platform. Additionally, I have a Lone Wolf sit and climb that I don’t use for two reasons..it’s not comfortable, and the belts probably need replaced but can’t be because LW isn’t around any longer. The LW platform being bigger would be more comfortable on my XOP, size wise. Looks like the LW platform was probably made in the same mold cast as the LW Alpha hang on, without being drilled for a seat post though. The area that the seat post would fit is the exact same width as the XOP. I’m thinking of drilling the LW platform and bolting the XOP seat post on it for the bigger space to move around on. Still on the fence about it though. What do you think?

    • @SamkoTradBow

      Play the wind, can’t fool a deers nose. You have many items that hold odor or cause odor while hunting. Sweat, breath, seat, carry straps, clothes. The point is play the wind and the strips help you not get detected from an unwanted noise by a deer upwind.
