#5G #att #tmobile - Наука
It’s the QCI, firstnet is QCI 6, and regular consumer is QCI 8 now
@kn0ck5 that is assuming the exact same bands are in use, same testing server is being used and the tower has congestion during this test.
Are you connecting to C Band or DOD? No 5G+ icon.
Exactly!
Yep seems like my normal speeds at home
How would the AT&T Turbo option do in this comparison test?
I have many questions about this because that's not my experience. Something doesn't seem right. What device is this? What carrier firmware is in use? What plan is the sim on? Those are some questions to start with. I have flmany firstnet, att consumer and att business sims in which are totally different.
This is a pixel 8 pro on ATT on unlimited premium business plan with fast track which is similar to ATT unlimited premium with turbo
@Techlifechannelwelcome did you confirm cband was in use? I mean speeds from the last video I think we can both agree cband was in use. Why I say this is because I have started doing cellmapper logging mainly nr bands. I have noticed that for some reason while n77 may be available and at a good connection stats, the device may not connect to it. I have seen this alot with ios and apple. I mostly use Samsung and monitor through field test mode for connected bands while cellmapper logs bands to verify the logging is done correctly. This is all done while using a large amount of data. Anywho just some things to check that make me wonder if it's apple to apples. From my extensive logging I find firstnet to be more consistent speeds and ping wherever I go while my att sims, all always on top tier plans with any applicable speed increasing add ons available added, to be either slow due to congested areas or extremely fast beating out firstnet. The reasons for the fluctuations is usually because like I stated either slow due to congestion or the anchor bands being other than bands 12 or 14. I find firstnet LOOVES to camp on band 12 or 14 for anchor bands resulting in the slightly elevated pings but consistent the same everywhere. Att business or retail will vary using whatever band it deems "best". Also cband does not stay connected as a CA band at all times. Thus also resulting in cband connections. That goes for firstnet and retail/business. Lastly I ask about carrier firmware for a few reasons. I deal with many carrier direct devices as well as manufacturer direct unlocked devices. When using device that have other carrier firmware that is installed but using a different carrier sim it'll disable certain bands and functions or add them. This will also affect the hotspot/tethering for those that may be interested in that 😉😉. For example using vzw firmware on tmo will disable field test mode on samsungs, band 71 and other bands while also not monitoring tethering data giving you an unlimited tethering that will be counted as on device. Likewise using a tmo carrier firmware device on vzw will disable band 13, and others, resulting in rural coverage. problems. Nearly all of our devices used are flagship samsung or ios pro minimum devices for anyone wondering.
Att needs more spectrum but then again they don’t seem to care about wireless much
Yeah they seemed to have basically abandoned wireless. They took the firstnet money and ran after doing a mediocre build. Even the gov had noticed how crappy and unreliable firstnet has been so far.
They do have the spectrum, what they need it's to have continuous spectrum. It's all fragmented and most phones are limited on carrier aggregation
I agree with you! But they need more towers and small cells with the DoD/CBand! They need to do more!
@RobSaahShow definitely. Att can fix things and I think they will over time
@@MichaelWilliams80995 But they take so long to do things!
Anybody else experiencing when doing a speed test with FirstNet, Speedtest apps are saying AT&T?
Nope, that should not be the case
@@Techlifechannelwelcome that’s what I thought. I’ve done everything reset network setting and called advance tech support and they said everything looks good!!!
@@Techlifechannelwelcome Any thoughts on what it might be? I’ve called and called they said I’m on FirstNet and everything looks great! Sent me a new ESIM as well and that didn’t Fix it! Sent so much refreshes to the phone and everything.
ATT is doing it on purpose they don’t care about wireless. Verizon is 4 times the speed of ATT
Yep
I've been able to hit 900 on consumer AT&T. Way different experience than yours.
Where's the 5g+ icon? Doesn't that represent c band?
What QCI are the business lines??
QCI 7
Are first net and business the same priority or close
ATT first net now it’s on QCI 6 and business is QCI 8 and 7 with fast track
@@Techlifechannelwelcome what’s higher? Is there a QCI one?
@@aab434 no, QCI 6 is the highest
Ping is still pathetic on that line too.
Can I asked how did you manage to get FirstNet?
Stankey himself sent it to me
@@Techlifechannelwelcome😂
Ok 😒😭
I recently switched from att to Verizon and Verizon speed is so slow. I live in Chicago and it’s really slow plus the signal at home is so weak
T-Mobile is solid in Chicago
Just have to fix that trash ping
