Whoa! It’s incredible how proficient you need to be to play so simply and yet so sophisticated. Such smart choices and that clap trigger, hahaha, it doesn’t budge, it’s rock solid Amazing.
Wow wow wow!!! That was a lesson how to build that vibe of everybody present!!! Even the band was turn up from 0 to 100! Super grrrovy! Master of groove at work! Thank you Stanley
I always wanted to see Stanley play with Snarky Puppy or Sput -Ghost Note Larnell and the gang!! This is nice I hope they can all get together! Soon! Great Job!!
That Stanley Shuffle at 6:18 is pure bliss. Also When you're backing up a beast like Tyron, and you're a beast your self but you pay homage to the homie but still with your twist and not take away but compliment the original vibe, that's a Striaght G move and a true professional. Still not taking away from what he brings to the song as well, helps when you've played with a Jedi Like Stevie. You see why he was choesn by two greats known to Man, Stevie and Cory! Your feel reminds me of purdy and chambers. Still a sleeper.
Hey @100grandstanz what was that hi hat lick on 1:00, just a double stroke or six stroke roll? I am trying to figure out how you end up with right hand. It sounds like RR LL RL
Bold? Why? This is what Stan does, and he’s Fam. He’s played with them before and will again. He’s the perfect person to call when TaRon can’t be there.
Please don’t make it more than it needs to be. They are absolutely two of the greatest funk drummers, including you, which you are my favorite as well. Much respect to you all. However the feel the Stanley provides for these tunes, just feels way different!
@@drummerdeedwI’m not, You did by saying Cory was “bold” as in he took a big risk putting Stan on this gig. I’m saying, it’s no risk at all putting another very well rounded musician who’s also Funky, and Known for being funky. That’s why Cory calls him. Of course it’s different, I get that, and it’s supposed to be different, but most importantly it’s still funky! Like all the JB drummers, all different, but all funky as hell! Tay is funky, and so is Stan!
Oh the joy of watching the drummer triggering the clap sample on the black pad without missing a beat ...
Never seen a Japanese crowd groove that HARD
THE POWER OF POCKET🔥🔥
So good. he not only play drums but also play music. This is what it takes to be good drummer
Cory and Nick have been playing for so long that they can read each others thoughts.

Glad you like it!
