  • First time doing a tool review on RUclips so I just kept it short and sweet, didn't go into too much depth on its parameters and info. The product overall isn't bad, I just don't like it for what I'd have to use it for in my day to day line of work. However, if you think this tool is something you'd be interested in getting for yourself here's the link to it on Amazon:
    www.amazon.com...
I get no kickback from you using the link, just thought I'd put that out there.

I use the tc001, image is way better than the klein. But Klein is better in the durability dept and stand alone form factor preference. Hikmicro has one you might like too.
You can use the extension cord and mount if you have a case that’s too thick, no need to take it off.
Definitely should Go through the settings and actual testing on the job to give it a fair shake. Appears that the
tc001 is the same without the zoom. Image overlay is nice. Thermal blended into the live image.
When u get into it, i think you’ll like it more than the klein for the resolution and ability to record right into ur phone. Had mine a year, don’t actually use it as much as I thought I would, custys love that shit though.
Pro tip for helicopters: give em something to do. Had a bad one that was within 2ft the whole time.. until I gave her the thermal and suggested she looked at all the vents.😂
Unsolicited 2cents: Obviously they prefer a positive review, but I think they’d be less likely to send more product if you don’t at least read the manual, adequately test/showcase the features and give constructive feedback. Might not be the product for you, but may be exactly what someone else is looking for.
Love ur vids tho, keep up the good work bro 👍🏽

Nah, I get that, but the phone should come with a cord that'll allow me to plug it into my phone and to the camera for the case. Again, I don't think it's a bad camera at all. It's in my work truck right now. Just in a quick pinch, it's easier for me to just pull out the Klein and go. I love the details the TOPDON gives, but I dont think i should have to buy an extra cord to have to be able to use the product with my otter box case. That cord should've been supplied to me for a product with this price point

@@AB_HVAC i coulda sworn I seen the cord on the table. Mine came with one in the mesh part of the case.

@MoonRambo702 the cord that I pulled out had a USB port like to connect to a laptop. I'll double check the box but I only had one cord

Is this the lastest vesion with the focus? Im trying to compare the tc001 plus and this one

To my knowledge it is. The you dial in the focus with the lens by just twisting back and forth

too much complaining about taking off the phone case. Get that tiny adaptor extender usb-c female to usb-c male with OTG support then your set p ready for work in seconds, besides topdon provides nice casing for camera mounted directly on your smartphone, you should have had it in the box

I noticed the cord had a USB to USB C adapter piece on it but still for what I use it for and quick access, I just prefer the Klein one that I have. However I have looked into getting the TOPDON version of the Klein model that I have. For the purpose of not needing to hook up to my phone and do all the extra steps. I want to be able to just use the camera and then put it away.
