HVAC with TOPDON TC003 Thermal Imager Discovering Issues You Can’t See Makes You More Efficient Tech

In this video I’m reviewing the TOPDON TC 003 thermal imager, so far I’m absolutely loving this tool! I’ve been using it in the field for a few weeks now and I can say this is a quality unit. it has seen most of its use on real estate inspections and residential maintenance to inspect duct and building envelope issues. I have found the image quality to be superior to both the seek compact pro and the flir one pro thermal cameras, even though the seek has a higher resolution, the lower thermal sensitivity on the topdon TC 003 provides better image definition, and clarity. I do Hvac for a living as well I've got 2 questions about this model gonna get one of these soon. just gotta pick the right one. on this model can you upload a picture to a phone or iPad. for like adding a picture to your work order. also I've not seen any videos on it is. can you see the hot gas going through the condenser coil and see where it condenses for a hot gas to a sub cooled liquid?? (ac mode)

It says you can use a oscilloscope but I could not find a app that would work for or with it contacted support but they were useless for the thermal camera because they are primarily in the automotive side of the field

Definitely! It's just crazy how cheap this technology is getting I imagine before long every technician will have this one of these in their bags right next to the k-type temperature probe.

I completely agree with the delicacy of thermal imagers that plug into the phone. I chose this pocket style also over the pistol grip style. It's definitely a tool that I didn't know how much time and headache it could save.
