To everyone who’s payments won’t dispense, if you change the repeater your under the observer beside the two droppers to 2 ticks instead of four it should fix your problem. I also changed the ticks of the repeater between the gold blocks closest to the dropper that dispenses your prize to 3 ticks and everything is working perfectly.

Thank you for continuing to push the boundaries of the Bedrock edition, Rogue. I've wanted a slot machine ever since I saw Doc's on Hermitcraft, but since redstone parity most likely will never be a thing between the java and bedrock versions, I'm thankful there are dedicated experts like yourself helping us adjust for the difference.

I designed an almost identical system years ago and I disappointedly concede that yours is better in almost every way. With mine I used second sets of hidden feedtapes containing hoppers which tracked the visible set and different hoppers had different outputs, allowing for multiple different rewards. This system is beautiful compact though, amazing job
YES! finally! A tutorial for bedrock edition, it took me a while to realise that the redstone mechanics in java is different in bedrock, so that's why it confuses me why my redstone build won't work sometimes when following a java tutorial. I know you’re not the only one out there confused by the difference between the two versions. I get a lot of comments from Java players saying a build doesn’t work. It’s just something that the community needs to be educated on 😄
With that, I know Mojang is working on parity between the two versions. Who knows...maybe some day we’ll all be on the same page!

I don't know if its the version I am in (1.17) but sometimes even when you get all gold blocks, it doesn't give the prize. But I would like to say that the fact that you make tutorials for bedrock is incredible! I have never seen a whole channel dedicated to building in bedrock, and this is super helpful to my friends on our realm and me. I absolutely love your videos and cant wait to see more.

Which repeater?
TO ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE PAYOUT MECHANIC:
As many commenters have described, the mechanism involving the two droppers around the 19:00 mark in the video is inconsistent. (This is the part of the build that extends the observer upward to power the prize dispenser when the player gets a winning combination, so if your prizes won't dispense, this is where the problem is.) I have found that the issue is with the observer that faces down into the repeater with the redstone on top, which is meant to power the two droppers twice each time the slots are activated--once when the slots turn on, and once when they turns off, so that the droppers pass a single item from the top to the bottom, then the bottom to the top. This doesn't activate consistently, and the item can get stuck in the bottom hopper.
HERE IS THE SOLUTION: Remove the observer facing downward next to the two droppers, and replace the top dropper with a hopper pointing downward into the bottom dropper (the dropper still faces upward, but it now faces into a hopper instead of the top dropper). This part is hard to describe in the confines of a RUclips comment without any visual aids, but I'll try: Place a redstone torch on the side of a block next to the hopper, so that it powers the hopper when the slots aren't being played. Place another redstone torch on the side of a block next to or underneath the dropper, so that when the torch activates, it causes the dropper to send one item upward into the hopper. You need to take a redstone signal from the line of repeaters (the 4-tick repeaters next to the comparator loop) and have it power the blocks with the redstone torches on their sides that you just placed--either by running the redstone into the side of those blocks, or over their tops. How you do this will depend on your layout--where your floor is, how much space you have beneath the floor, etc. You just need to figure it out. Then place one single item in the hopper.
What should happen: When the slots turn on, the line of repeaters will carry a signal to the blocks with the torches on them, de-powering them. That will allow the item to travel from the hopper into the dropper below. Then, when the slots finish, the torches will no longer receive power, and will return to their default state (on). That will power the dropper, sending the single item back up into the hopper, and simultaneously power the hopper, preventing the item from traveling back down until the next time the slots are activated. It achieves the intended effect of the video's design, but does it consistently. One more thing: You might need to add another repeater somewhere in the line of repeaters to delay the item traveling back upward into the hopper, so that the machine doesn't attempt to activate the prize dispenser until the slots have fully finished rotating.
Took some trial and error but this works 100% of the time on my super laggy server. Hopefully this was clear enough to follow.

It seems there is a small issue with the RS NOR latch (droppers facing each other). Sometimes, the block ends up in the lower dropper at the end of the cycle, which breaks the win mechanism. Other than that, this still works in 1.20.5
The fix (from the comments below) - "change the repeater your under the observer beside the two droppers to 2 ticks instead of four it should fix your problem." - I confirm that this fixed the issue for me.

14:43 If your slot machine only moves once check the 2 hoppers facing into eachother because if a mob dies there and a item falls into the hopper it will only move once

At 20:42 the bottom dropper doesn’t put the item back into the top dropper so the piston with the observer never extends, can somebody help?

Do not leave the red stone repeaters at 1 tick the ones at the inside that lead to the dispenser that leads to your prize it will most or sometimes release it every single time 3 gold comes up which will lead it to shoot the prize out before they actually one or give it to them even if they did not win

10/10 video. Bedrock needs more creators like you. One tip I would suggest is a redesign dropper for the payout. People on a server can come and just take stuff out of the dropper without paying lol. When I built this, I looped it around to a water stream but I’m sure there’s a better way to do it
yep i just attached the initial dropper to a hopper that goes to the dispenser that will drop the prize :)

Hey bro I built this on my REALM works a treat . I actually made a second security just incase some clever dude tries to take the winnings unfairly .... THE JACKPOT NOTEBLOCK , I HAVE AN OBSERVER LOOKING AT IT WITH A DISPENSER ON OTHER SIDE . WHENEVER THE JACKPOT NOTE GOES AN ITEM WILL DROP OUT THE DISPENSER INTO A CHEST , SO YOU CAN DOUBLE CHECK THE AMOUNT OF APPARENT WINS , :)

It’s the norlatch
To fix the win detection system just
-remove the droppers facing each other part (rs norlatch)
-place any full block over the redstone torch above the hopper
-place a slab going into the piston pushing pushing up the observor
Instead of the RS norlatch, we can use the redstone torch that’s there for power so take that power and relay it into the piston and it’s the exact same thing

That doesn’t change the odds, that just changes the amount of spins it has, to change the odds, add more or less gold blocks

To change the cost, add or subtract the amount of junk items in the payment filter.
And to get an easier win, take out a layer of stairs and add another layer of blocks

i play java... i can think of a few ways to fox up the design to work for java, being that you cant move storage blocks with pistons or have redstone work correctly on top of pistons, thanks for the tutorial! it'll get me some income on my minecraft server!
Awesom video, but there is a problem with this slot machine. The signal on the outer line will get to the dropper slower than the other curcuit will deactivate so the item will be stuck in the buttom dropper and the signal which should activate the droper with diamonds in case of a win will be activated too early.
In conclusion, you should set one of the repeaters to 3 ticks.

What are the percentages of winning and losing?
The payment system is broken, for some reason the top dropper sometimes wont activate eventhough the redstone next to it lights up. It seems its a 50/50 chance. Any workarounds for this issue? If i place a temporary redstone torch as the powersupply for it it works fine. Very weird.
I'm running into the same issue. For some reason the bottom dropper isn't sending back the dirt block for me and that makes the payment system not register. I don't know what to do to get it to function every time?

So I've been messing around with the repeaters for about half an hour since my last Reply. For me if the very last repeater (the one with an observer facing down at it with the restone dust on top) I have set to 3 ticks instead of 4 and for some reason when I made that change its been more consistent of activating the droppers
@@drummer2b2009 I have not found a solution yet. Technically it should just work but somehow it doesnt. Like i said i cut off the payment system from the main circuit and fed power into the repeaters with a torch. When removing the torch i simulated the end of the circuits loop. Works flawless then. Its allmost like the normal power signal comming from the circuit has issues due to a bug orso, i cant think of another reason.

I'm curious as if this is broken. I made it in my survival world but the sticky piston doesn't grab the item causing the stairs/gold blocks to only b pushed downwards
