His portrayal of joker will go down in history as the greatest portrayal EVER. I haven't seen the new one yet but Heath ledger's version of The joker is by far my most favorite version of joker besides Mark Hamill's animated Joker.
Exactly!!! Heath never wanted to play Batman, Christopher Nolan even asked Heath to audition for him and he refused, same way he refused to audition for Sam Ramis Spiderman. Look up the Rich Eisen Show, Christopher Nolan talks about how he asked Ledger and he wasn’t interested.
There will never be another actor to play the Joker as well as Heath Ledger, he was and always will be Heath 'THE JOKER' Ledger. Sadly I do believe the depth he went to in creating his version of the Joker character, did contribute greatly to his death. I honestly hope this will never happen to another actor and that the business is and will take steps in setting up some kind of help and outreach to protect stars that do such seriously deep method acting as Heath did.
Allan Jackson it was sleep deprivation that did it. Director know of the issue but ledger said he was fine. There was a serious lack of care in this matter. Normally your stars are monitored closely.
He had sleep insomnia way before the movie. When filming his last movie, he had a crazy filming schedule and his tolerance for his sleep meds went up. He took too many mixed with the other meds he was as taking.
Without any doubt, Heath Ledger is the greatest villain of all time. People loved him, they love him, and they will always love him. He has did a job in 'The Dark Knight' which can't be described in words. After all this is what acting is, It's quite sacred.

No.15 I really was *blown away* when I was reading the script realizing that the hospital exterior scene wasn't in the script as it was in the movie, amazing ledger improv there
This is false, the scene was always planned out that way, Nolan has stated this in multiple interviews. It gave Ledger enough time to get away from the blast. As well Heath never wanted to play Batman, Christopher Nolan even asked Heath to audition for him and he refused, same way he refused to audition for Sam Ramis Spiderman. Look up the Rich Eisen Show, Christopher Nolan talks about how he asked Ledger and he wasn’t interested.
@@adamkevorkian8685 thanks for informing me 🙏 But i was regarding to the actual writing in the script, it doesn't clearly state the quirky actions that Joker should do in that particular part. Just simply amazed by Heath's little touch to that scene as he played the Joker.
@@user-mt4jx1lx3g yes because Nolan had no clue what they’d have to do for the scene. On the day of filming, when they found out what they needed to do, they planned out the scene. None of it was improv, it was all planned out the day of. So yes, it’s not in the script, cause Nolan didn’t know what would need to be done, but was always planned out.
@@user-mt4jx1lx3g No problem, it’s one of the biggest myths in Hollywood. Often things aren’t written is a script, but doesn’t mean it wasn’t planned out. People just saw that it wasn’t in the script and rolled with “it’s must have been improv” when had then done just a tiny bit of research, they’d have seen that Nolan said the day of filming, when the pyro technician told Nolan and Heath he set it up to not fully go off, as to give Heath enough time to get away, him and Nolan were planned out how the joker would react to that.

Billy Olsen yes serial killers are pos dosent mean Heath didnt get the idea from a psychopath like bundy especially for a psychopathic character like the joker
Heath licked his lips to help keep the prostic lips he had on to stay stuck to his lips because the glue would wear off during the long hours if filming
Billy Olsen
Well spoken 👍🏻
@@aydentheninja877 killing is bad either way.
this shows how much hard acting is and people who say its easy
it takes a lot of effort to make a movie
It’s easy when you are Jared Leto playing Joker
This one. Can't believe he's gone.
May be he realised it as well.... he was on the verge of becoming a mad man himself....
Tf?
The hell you talking about? He accidentally overdosed on his meds, chill out.
Outstanding film, simply cause of the joker.
I remember thinking, I'll watch batman.
Within about 4 minutes I was on the edge of my seat.
What a film.
What an actor.
R. I. P Heath
The bank scene tho! It made me anticipate the rest of the film
Best performance I’ve ever seen...in any Film.
We agree, Adam!
@@FactsVerse too bad half your facts are wrong In this video. For starters Heath never wanted to play Batman, Christopher Nolan even asked Heath to audition for him and he refused, same way he refused to audition for Sam Ramis Spiderman. Look up the Rich Eisen Show, Christopher Nolan talks about how he asked Ledger and he wasn’t interested.
I got goosebumps after knowing these facts...
Now I miss Heath Ledger (RIP)
Half the “Facts” in this video are wrong. And that’s just the first fact in the video, it all goes down hill from there. Video is a fucking disgrace to the man, the legend that is Heath.
This just makes me love his performance even more!! Best Joker performance to date!! RIP Heath!
Half the facts In this video are lies. Off the bat Heath never wanted to play Batman, Christopher Nolan even asked Heath to audition for him and he refused, same way he refused to audition for Sam Ramis Spiderman. Look up the Rich Eisen Show, Christopher Nolan talks about how he asked Ledger and he wasn’t interested.
The greatest performance ever.
His portrayal of joker will go down in history as the greatest portrayal EVER. I haven't seen the new one yet but Heath ledger's version of The joker is by far my most favorite version of joker besides Mark Hamill's animated Joker.
Wait until you see Joaquin Phoenix
2019 joker doesn't excites me
He was a Genius Artist, respect
Yes I got scared when I watched The Heath as joker.. no-one can do better than him never ever ❤️
He actually didn’t want to play in the movie at all but after a day he decided he could be the perfect joker
Tom Hiddleston originally auditioned for Thor and look where that got him.. The best villain, Loki.
dude where on this planet is loki the best villian?
Haha
Lol jokers the best and dc is better just saying lol
Popeye21 dc isn’t better at making movies (except for a few, like this one) but marvel takes that spot. Dc makes good tv shows though
@@facilityguard970 we don't give a flying fck about movies bro yeah every Christopher Nolan movie was dope af but true followers of dc or marvel know it's either comics or animations so stfu your comment is stupid jesus fcking christ I marvel at how annoying you movie watching douche bags are
must be so insulting turning up to an audition wanting to be batman and hearing "nope, we think you'll be better suited for joker" like what
Heath never wanted to play Batman, Christopher Nolan even asked Heath to audition for him and he refused, same way he refused to audition for Sam Ramis Spiderman. Look up the Rich Eisen Show, Christopher Nolan talks about how he asked Ledger and he wasn’t interested.
As well, how you gonna recast Batman after Batman Begins, just use your fucking brain…
When I found out he actually died I was heartbroken & cried leaving the theaters 😭 he was so perfect.
Oh man I wish he was still alive, his portrayal of joker will love on forever
Everybody makes out like Heath's portrayal of the joker was a dark road to insanity. When in reality it was screen performance history followed by a freak accident 😥
Who is Author. I thought Batman's butler was Alfred. Fact verse do your homework.
Don't worry. The man's just brain dead.
Brandon Williams it’s not author it’s Arthur 🤣
@@enrxledclips2789 huh,huh.
Just how fact verse don't care about research I don't care about my spelling.
Brandon Williams Lmaooo
RIP to this incredible actor and amazing person. We all miss you Heath, we will never forget you 💔
Thank you HL! ❤
Glad to know that you're a fan of HL! May he find peace 🙏
Michael Caine played Alfred, not Arthur.
Dude half the shit in this video is a fucking lie.
The Legendary Joker 🃏 To bad you not here R.I.P Brother 🙏
3:14 imagine, just a casual day on the set as the batman, and then one of the actors asks you to just beat em up!
Heath Ledger is the best and Greatest joker there will ever be.
No one will ever play a better joker than him and that's facts 💯
Jaquin: am I a joke to you?
Duck spelt name wrong idiot and no joaquin is ass
@@ezyprplx5632 Joaquin was great but heath ledger was the best.
Joaquin Phoenix
And then Joaquin Phoenix joined the picture...
He was such an amazing actor. Huge loss the the world and the silver screen. There'll never be another like him.
Thanks for watching!
@Ostia Hermes ??
@Ostia Hermes oh ok. I understand.. nevertheless, he's no longer on the big screen or contributing cinematically so he's still a loss in that manner.
He literally made that movie best Joker ever there will never be another Joker like him rest in peace
Just rewatch Dark Knight again....and man.. Ledger's Joker is the finest
@@adamkevorkian8685 thanks for informing me 🙏
But i was regarding to the actual writing in the script, it doesn't clearly state the quirky actions that Joker should do in that particular part.
@@adamkevorkian8685 ah I see thankyou for the explanation
@@user-mt4jx1lx3g No problem, it’s one of the biggest myths in Hollywood. Often things aren’t written is a script, but doesn’t mean it wasn’t planned out. People just saw that it wasn’t in the script and rolled with “it’s must have been improv” when had then done just a tiny bit of research, they’d have seen that Nolan said the day of filming, when the pyro technician told Nolan and Heath he set it up to not fully go off, as to give Heath enough time to get away, him and Nolan were planned out how the joker would react to that.
So heartbreaking!! I truly enjoyed his performance. 💜
Damn like he made the movie all by his self
Police station fight was real?? Legendary moves
Thanks for watching!
So heath method acting killed him? That makes me sad😢😢😔😔
The_Fetus_run no it didn’t.
@@GMESELECT yes it did
Isn't he died because of drugs abuse? Correct me if i was wrong
He overdosed prescription drugs and after his last shoot
He died from I think a cardiac arrest. not actually being arrested but something about the heart
Loved all three, it's cool how people can show three sides of the Joker with different characters
Madness, as you know, is like gravity. 🃏. To me Heath will always be the one and only joker. RIP HEATH LEDGER for ever in our hearts, and to me will always be the joker 🥀
Heath did a wonderful job as joker but it would have been awesome to see him as Batman too, we all miss Heath we will never forget him he was a wonderful actor
U r so right.
Well said!

R.I.P. Heath . Thanks for all of your performances . True JOKER .
This movie's joker was awesome
R.i.p heath, but a demon took over heath's mind and body whilst playing the joker,
kane whare-paikea true
He was the best joke fly high. Much missed
He coming back as the JOKER 🃏
With his mental state he shouldn't of taken on this role it just fueled his dark side
kane whare-paikea hey you can’t blame demons.
heath was a such a legend 😫
Not glasago smile it is actually originally the Chelsea smile
I agree, the type of assault made famous in Glasgow is the 'Glesga Kiss' which is a headbutt to the face, mainly aimed directly to the nose or bridge of the nose of the victim.
Wasn't the Chelsea smile brought about by the kray brothers?
