Congratulations on you 100th chordal video, Antoine! I have personally really benefited from them and you have opened up new possibilities for my guitar playing. Long may you continue!
Bravo Antoine! 100 tuto c'est ÉNORME!!!! Vive ta chaîne et on en veux plus! J'adore ton énergie, j'apprend à chaque tuto et on voit que tu aimes ce que tu fais en plus d'être bon à le faire!🤜🤛
my most sincere congratulations friend, I have no words to tell you what you have changed in my life and how to get even closer to music, at times I have been well hidden but always i have extra time immersing myself in the waters of our community and in your videos and lessons. Gracias Antoine por ser mi amigo !!! And until the next time Aureboir .
congratulations on 100 lessons! you are a great teacher, your explanations are accessible and effective! thank you for continuing to share your approach; your unique style is very magical, and why I joined Kordz program!
Your spread triads and add/major 9 chord videos were very helpful and informative! Its not just the chordal videos that are helpful, but the connection with your compositions to see how they can be applied within the context of a song
Really glad that you mentioned it. I try to make connections with my music often, because it's important for me to show that music theory does not have to stay at the stage of theory. You can really use it!
Congratulations on your 100th lesson Antoine! I have been following you for a long time and I have learned SO MUCH from you! You are without a doubt one of the top Ambient Guitar Players in the world and you are so kind to share all of your tips and tricks through the Ambient Guitar Academy and with all the other classes you offer. They are so good I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get better on guitar.
Thanks Antoine, beautiful chords! I just got a partial capo and was looking for some inspiration and you gave it to me! Love your enthusiasm for what you do and be assured, you may be lonely making your videos but there are lots and lots of people out here who totally love what you're doing and are being helped massively by your knowledge and teaching. Thank you, sir, you just gained another subscriber to your channel! I will be spending many hours watching the other 99 videos! Cheers
Thank you so much! You are right, it's hard to feel the impact I'm having while filming videos alone, so thanks to people like you taking the time to comment :-)
Congratulations on ONE HUNDRED Chordal LessonS, Antoine! Much appreciated.... just getting started on ALL ONE HUNDRED. II have done a lot of editing... 100 is quite a feat, Awesome Dude!
The videos have been very helpful it opened me up to a new world of guitar playing and i appreciate that bro. You helped to transform my playing and open me up to new things 😎
youtube seems to push your channel further to the back of my subscriptions for some reason so i don’t see every video you make as it’s released, but i’m always coming back. i just wanna say i really appreciate your lessons. i’ve been playing a long time and it’s difficult to remember the specifics of what i have learned and where from, but i know for a fact i’ve learned some valuable information from you and probably a good handful of chords so thank you very much! you seem kind and like you really enjoy what you’re doing. i hope you’ll continue for many years to come!
I have never pleased the algorithm gods for some reason, but I'm still growing slowly year after year. I'm happy that you did not forget about me! I will definitely keep going for years to come :-) thanks, Jon!
Hi Antoine, thank your for your videos. I appreciate you for sharing your musical knowledge. I am new to electric guitar/ambient music and your videos have been a great help! Thank YOU!!!!!!
So many times I've been tempted to put the guitar down but every time I watch one of your videos they end up sparking something in me. I appreciate it greatly! The knowledge you share is super valuable and you present it in such a digestible manner. Thanks for everything 💕💯
Honestly, I can't even rate how valuable these lessons have been. When I starting watching it was because I was amazed with strymon pedals and I wanted to hear people use them. I was playing metal and that was about it. I am now only a few months from having my own ambient album done (with about triple the amount of material that hasn't made it to the album...I dont know if that's good or bad). This music has taken over my life and I owe such a huge part of it to you (along with Andy Othling, Chords of Orion and Perry Frank). Overall though, your lessons have been the most influential out of any so from the studios of the up and comming artist EchoMoth, THANK YOU MY FRIEND!
I learned something new, I did not know that a half capo existed! I have a short list of channels I subscribe to, and I learn from everyone of them, and yes they are all important to me! Again I would like to thank you for all that you do! 😊
Hi From England. I'm a complete beginner. I have a guitar, and 10 fingers and 2 thumbs, but that's as far as it goes, for now. I've just found your channel and plan to learn from your lessons. Thank you so much for providing them.
@antoinemichaud… Definitely one of the best ambient guitarists on the ‘Tube! I love your chord choices! One question: This is the Shubb C7, correct? I’m shopping for partial capos right now and trying to decide between this and the Kyser version. Did you have to modify this one to fit on a narrower electric guitar neck?
Congrats - it´s 100 chordal lessons, providing such a great knowledge I wish somebody would collect them for a release in printed form. Otherwise I'll have to draw the diagrams from the screen myself one day.
New to your channel and love it. I am learning how to play ambient music. I play in a praise and worship band and would like to add some depth to the songs we are playing. Can you point me to a video that explains how to play ambient music swells in a band environment when we all play off the same sheet music? How do I play ambiently off of sheet music? Hopefully, I am coming across clearly
I don't have videos in a band setting, nor covering sheet music. I always play and create alone by using a looper pedal! I mean, any lesson or tutorial I make can give something new to try in the ambient guitar genre, if you adapt the knowledge to your situation.
Thank you. I am just getting into the G7 capo 3 partial, so more the merrier, je pense. I am pl;aying in a group with three guitats and a banjo, pplus base, so it can be confusing when I try to use my new capo, when all others are for example playing in G.
I have never tried a partial capo, and have been interested in the DADGAD sound, but intimidated by learning all new chord shapes. This could open up some interesting possibilities. I just saw a new product, have you tried the Creative Tunings Spider Capo? It is adjustable for any combination of strings.
@@AntoineMichaudGuitarLooping Many "RUclipsrs" have links to products shown in their videos, and they get a small $ percentage, if the viewer clicks the link and buys the product. Example- Partial Capo
Ah, I get it! I'm not doing affiliate marketing for now, aside from promotting Neunaber pedals (and it's really because I LOVE these pedals and used them for many years. My link is here: bit.ly/2TUad3o).
5:33 = "A missed occasion to add another color to my chord" - that sums it up wonderfully. Enjoyed this alot. oNe LovE from NYC
These videos are great for giving me a spark of inspiration to try something new. Please keep them coming!
I will. Thanks a lot, Travis!
Congratulations on all of your success!

Yes, it's the Shubb! No problem to use is on my electric. I do have a fat neck, but it's easily adjustable.
Great content!
Discovering your channel.
New subscriber - looks like you have some great lesson content here!

Please give lessons on fingerpickkng on partial capo too
Please can you do one video about professional guitar accompanement
I would like to see it.
7:47 that’s the first chord everybody plays in DADGAD - it’s inevitable lol
