- You are listening to a single evolving patch, created on the V-synth GT 2.0. This performance was all done live.
No editing or processing was applied - except for a Waves L2 limiter, for IDR and to shave off the highest of peaks (@ 0.2 dB). The synth went straight into an RME Fireface 800 at 48kHz, 24 bit.

The V-Synth is such an underrated piece of equipment. Glad to see someone using its potential. Also, a very nice improvisation. Congrats!
Beautiful. I can't believe I let this synth pass me by when it was going for cheap in my local second hand store. Whoever got it is very very lucky
I have one I bought when it was release back I belive in 2007, and I use it from time to time, and every time i say wow what er powerful synth

Phenomenal textures
Dank voor het delen! Wederom vanavond met ontzettend veel plezier achter de V-Synth gezeten. Niet zo lang geleden geprobeerd patches te storen op de computer en ook gekeken om banken van andere V-Synth (version 2) gebruikers in mijn V-Synth te laden. Dit verliep niet helemaal naar wens. In tegenstelling tot bijvoorbeeld de D-50 en Yamaha SY series van eind jaren 80, waar een midi dump/load heel eenvoudig gaat, lukte het met dit apparaat niet. Ik ga er binnenkort maar weer eens voor zitten. Heb een stuk of 15 patches gebouwd, maar weet dus niet hoe ik ze correct naar de pc overzet en ze later weer eventueel in te laden. Niet handig, maar goed😅 Mocht je tips hebben, dan hoor ik het graag. Groet, Devin
Geen tips jammer genoeg .. Zelf had ik een V-synth XT eerst, en dacht dat de patches compatibel waren, maar dat is niet het geval. Het is ook omslachtig om deze op te slaan via USB etc. Jammer dat ze het niet meer uitwisselbaar maakten tussen alle drie V-synths onderling, en meer gebruiksvriendelijk.
@@Metralon beste Metralon, bedankt voor je reactie. Toevallig is recent een serie instructie videos voor de V-Synth geüpload door TheMidiManiac (Rogier) op RUclips. Hierin is ook mijn laatste vraag behandeld betreft het omgaan met file bestanden op de V-Synth. Vriendelijke groet,

that machine can do soooooooooo much more,since it's a sampler and has many ways to move /shape sounds...

@@Metralon Now you can accidently send me your VSynth GT...It will be at home with a Roland sequencer,MV8800,and my Roland analog synth..
i have yamaha montage after i bought this synth (used) it became my first keyboard.
What's the name of the patch? Is free?
It was something I did on the fly. I didn't save the preset and it evolves during the track
I always slept on this synth because of the goofy design. Big mistake.
why did they discontinue, is because there is something better out there?
It did cost quite a bit when it came out, didn't sell enough so they continued it.

It was(is)a great synth with unique sounds,certainly when it came out.But these days there are so many (soft)synths with similar sounds.So many......
Some people don't like using vsts.
Incorrect. Plus, some folks prefer hardware.
I haven't found anything really close to this. What VST's are you referring to?
