You'd be surprised how many people build a farm like this only to find their iron golems are spawning in underground caverns. Trying to fill up those caverns to block spawns is a total nightmare. Personally, that is the issue I ran into when I built like this, so I just played it smart and safe. I built up about 20 blocks for he base, and built upwards for this build. Instead of putting down leaves for the boarder for non-spawnable blocks, you can use a shovel and right click to make a path block. I know that works in Java, but I think it also works in bedrock. Where you put the hopper, leave a hole that is 2 blocks high and open so the water will push the cats into a holding area. The lava will still kill the golems, and eventually all 5 cats will be safe and nothing but golems will spawn. I'd suggest putting 2 more hoppers down feeding into the one he placed. This makes collection easier. And once the cats are safe, you can can add campfires or soul campfires to add damage to kill the golems faster which will increase the number of golems that spawn per hour. You'll end up with a fair amount of iron so you can easily build a line of hoppers to bring the iron do to a collection chest, or route it to your base.
@@wagewar_1399Yes. I had caverns under my original build (like the one in the video) that were too big to fill in, so I just went up instead of down. I've been through so many builds that don't work. This though...magnificent. There were iron golems spawning in the pit where I was breeding the villagers lol! Thank you so much. (PS4 user)
Oh! If no one minds having the cats escape and be all over the place. If you make a hole just one block on the other wall next to the hopper (just one block above it) and lead it outside they escape without (at least so far on mine) messing with item collection.
This works great in my test world, but when build in my survival world, it stopped working after I got 24 iron , only cats keep spawning 😢. then i read the comments and fished some raw cods then got 5 cats sitting around the farm, cats stopped showing up but still no iron golems. so I dig around the farm and found a underground water cave with 2 iron golem in the water😂 the moment when i got rid of them the farm started working! Thanks for the tutorial and tips shared in the comment!
Works fine for me. I mainly did it by heart but referred to this video for little bits I was lost on. If your golems are spawning outside. Just completely cover the outside of your farm with pathways using a shovel. Don't build it near a village, preferably flat land with no caves close by. This should fix the issue. I built this on a brand new world and works perfectly. Playing on PS5.
Still works, if you use it for a while then notice it stopped working all you have to do is dig on the side and get into the beds room. Then dig out the sides so the villagers can access the beds. Then make a stair case from this room too the villager room. Let them sleep and they will walk from each room with little too no problems. Once they’re done sleeping they walk right back into the work room. Close it all off again and it will be working fine. I have to do this every time I use the farm
You mean, you do all of that every time you use the farm? That's a lot of work. Mine stops working after making like 2 stacks of iron and begins spawning outside of the farm and after I killed it, it never spawn golem now
@@BadCandice yeah that’s pretty much what happen to me at first. It’s really a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s a couple stacks and other times it’s a full chest when I come back from work. It’s really not that hard tho since the villagers move around for you
For all those people who tried to find a iron farm on bedrock that ended up not working, this one does work. Tried so many before and this one is the only one that works!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love this farm. It does work on the most updated version of the game as of today but you have to be really careful about any nearby villagers. Remove the nearby beds and job blocks if yours isn't working. Great easy design
I dont hate jc plays, or his builds, but this is the best version of an iron farm ive ever used or built, this is just so much easier and makes more iron. thank you so much
On 20.4 update there's an issue where when it gets night the baby villager is somehow able to go through under the bed and when the next morning comes it suffocates in the block...
TIP for MCPE and Bedrock Edition: If it isn't working, look around for your trading hall/villager breeding origins. Make sure that your trading hall and/or breeding origins are AT LEAST 250 blocks away from the farm, which means you have to move it if it is too close. If you have any other questions if it's not working, feel free to ask me.
i made the farm and its nice a good tip is to use a turtle egg on a block two blocks high above water in the middle and to use a campfire on top of the hopper this way you can colect both iron and mob loot drops
Thanks for this up to date iron farm, just got it up and running and it's making so much iron. I was definitely getting iron golem spawns before I hit 20 too, so maybe I could have gotten it up and running with less wheat farming (you didn't mention it, but this takes a LOT of food), but I'm sure this gives peak iron output anyway. I'll find something to do with those two extra hoppers 😂
@@blackscreen6799 they both need to have 3 stacks of bread, so it's double that, and also it's hard to be effiecient about it because, yknow, it's a bunch of villagers in a hole. look you can do whatever math you want, but I built the thing, and trying to get the wheat last meant I had to work the farm for a few hours, that much is true.
Just for anybody who is seeing this now, this farm is GREAT! One of the only ones that works for Bedrock/MCPE that is quick and simple. If anybody needs and tips or questions, put a reply and let me know!
@@matthewthaxton7238 If the farm is right, the golems should keep continuous spawning. But for this type of farm, I’m pretty sure this is the max for this design.
@@Jimbruv12 You might have to fill the cave in. If the cave is too big, you might have to relocate the farm. You can just use any block and make sure you fill it in so that a golem doesn’t have room to spawn.
Isn't the previous design just better, since the only difference is the fletching table placement and in that one it doesn't break if done incorrectly considering the placement is much more obvious?
Were they from a village? Or did they spawn randomly? I've heard there's a issue with these farms when they don't assign a bed, so you have to break their previous bed. The problem is finding said bed.
We're using this farm, but bedrock villagers are... Difficult. 75% of the villagers need to have worked the previous day so if 6 link to a job block outside the farm it will fail. It's best to not put any job blocks, beds, or bells with in 100 block radius. *Look up village rules on the wiki it explains village rules. Using a job block you would never use, and making one trade to lock them in is a safe way to reduce headaches
Hey!!! I haven’t seen anyone get an answer yet but I reaaaaally need one. So basically I did this correctly (in creative and in survival) but my iron golems stopped spawning after I rejoined?? I kept checking to make sure I had enough villagers and I even restarted and I do indeed have 20 villagers, 20 workstations, and 20 beds. I’m not sure if this is a glitch or what but if anyone has some kind of information on it some help would be super appreciated! Edit: Alright guys, dumb girl moment but basically they were spawning in an area under my house I had yet to patch up from a previous underground farm, I had already patched up a bit of it thinking everything was okay but I was proven wrong. Basically only 2 golems spawn at a time (at least for me) and because both of those golems were trapped under my home no more could spawn in my death trap/iron farm. Just a heads up for anyone having the same issue, this could be your issue too so make sure to search everywhere in the area.
thank you so much you comment help me realise my mistake in my farm for context i had built the farm and it was fully operational i got 2 double chests full of iron before i decided to move the farm to a more suitable area in my base and when i was doing it i kill all villagers but 4 leaving two for the new farm and two for a new project i was doing, so i made the new farm but it wasn't producing any iron golems and the villager count would get to 18 and stop breeding i would kill to in the farm and they'd instantly repopulate and thats what made me realise that the two i had cut off for the new project were still counted as the villages villagers and as sson as i moved them away 150 blocks they farm started working
That's how villager farms work in java, because there's a mechanic in java where if villagers get scared by zombies they will try to summon an iron golem which what makes the iron farm work, but because there's no mechanic like that in bedrock you have to do this method instead.
Please reply. I had built it but problem is iron golem spawn outside farm So i placed about 15-20 stacks leaves around farm becoz they were spawning even on 1 normal dirt block. Then they seem to appear in farm but when i went afk , in night due to mobs they spawn outside even on leaves. Edit - I know theoretically they can't spawn on leaves but I have seen with my eyes in this particular scenario. They spawn and get slided a long way on leaves BUT THEY DO SPAWN . Btw I play on mobile
First time I also had this problem bro, but after sometime it went back to normal cuz I added a hell lot a leaves so maybe u need to add more leaves IDK, but it will work
@@apegaming26na bro. I broke 7 shears for getting leaves. You can understand how many leaves I placed. It was far more than any youtube video I seen for fixing iron farm
This is the most easy and efficient. The java ones are more easy and more efficient than the bedrock farms because you just need 3 villagers and a zombie to scare them to spawn golems. But in bedrock u at least need 20 villagers with jobs gossiping to spawn golems.
Thank you so much because i ve tried almost 20 and all of those were not working but this is fantabalous thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much
Tip: you dont need to move your villagers 150 blocks away from the village, just remove every workstation and beds in the village and it works absolutely fine.
- Try to avoid building the farm on an island, near your village/other villagers, make sure it is 130+ blocks away from others village/villagers. - If you already built on a small island, try to cover the land with slabs. - Tame 5 cats and place them around the farm. - There must be no caves near your farm, if there’s some try to cover it with dirts.

It's really work ! And it doesn't required zombie or something! Its really the simplest and efficiently iron farm from the all Minecraft Bedrock History ! Thank you sooo much ❤
To anyone that has issues with making the villagers breed you first need to have 2 farmer villagers, for them to be able to breed!
But you don't necessarily need a farmer. I found a village without farmers, breeded them manually and they are multiplying now
You can just get any villagers, I had 2 cartographers and just gave them bred and in 5 mins I had the 18 babies
You don't need 2 farmers bro don't spread lies
This farm works excellent on bedrock! Got a stack of iron within the first five minutes of me afk-ing
Bro the golems aren't spawning in the hole what should I do
@@Ayan-e6k1k How far away from a village or any other area with workstations did you build? Also, Java or Bedrock?
I made this and it 100% works. I made it above water, just a little bit away from land and I have 12 stacks in 2 hours.
这个农场真的很有效,我挂机半小时就有2组的铁了,例外我在农场外面驯服了五只猫,就没有生成猫了,加上你的挂机钓鱼场,可以使我一边钓鱼一边挂机等铁,真的太感谢啦❤❤
Thanks for the tutorial and tips shared in the comment!
thank you, solved my problem 😮💨
thank you so much! this is what i needed
It does not
This farm has helped me alot thanks for this
I love this farm. It does work on the most updated version of the game as of today but you have to be really careful about any nearby villagers. Remove the nearby beds and job blocks if yours isn't working. Great easy design
This is the first iron farm that ever worked to me!!!! You are amazing!
Let the baby villager grow
Quick tip - if golems are spawning outside then place slabs there
TIP for MCPE and Bedrock Edition: If it isn't working, look around for your trading hall/villager breeding origins. Make sure that your trading hall and/or breeding origins are AT LEAST 250 blocks away from the farm, which means you have to move it if it is too close. If you have any other questions if it's not working, feel free to ask me.
i build one quite far from my base it work but i had to be near for golem to spawn so it still suck
@@Uncle1899 It’s like that for all MCPE and Bedrock farms. If you’re too far away in chunks, it won’t load.
@@sneakysnake5750 ya i just figured it out I'm a new player it quite boring to wait on my ass
@@Uncle1899You can try to make an afk farm if it still works on your version.
@@sneakysnake5750 I'll search it up i don't know what afk farm is about yet
useful tip: this farm works with 10 working villager (at least) but you still need 20 beds
am i the only one who noticed that you have to dig 6 blocks deep not five for the small square
i made the farm and its nice a good tip is to use a turtle egg on a block two blocks high above water in the middle and to use a campfire on top of the hopper this way you can colect both iron and mob loot drops
For a villager to breed you only need 3 bread.
3x18=54 less than a stack of bread.
I built my farm over an underwater cave and sometimes they spawn there. Any fix?
The golems seem to take a long time to spawn any tips to make them spawn faster?
@@matthewthaxton7238 If the farm is right, the golems should keep continuous spawning. But for this type of farm, I’m pretty sure this is the max for this design.
@@Jimbruv12 You might have to fill the cave in. If the cave is too big, you might have to relocate the farm. You can just use any block and make sure you fill it in so that a golem doesn’t have room to spawn.
@@sneakysnake5750 I appreciate the help thank you!
There is some problem with the farm for me, the villager are just continually link and delinking from the beds and no golems are spawning in
My villgaer not link to bed😢
bro THANKKKKK YOUUUUU this is the first iron farm ive built THAT WORKSS
My iron golems are spawning outside the farm, but I know I did everything right. How do I fix it?
Me too man, wtf
SUPER BRO IT IS VERY EASY AND IT IS WORKING PERFECTLY ,THE GREAT THING IS IT IS WORKING PERFECTLY IN BEDROCK
Isn't the previous design just better, since the only difference is the fletching table placement and in that one it doesn't break if done incorrectly considering the placement is much more obvious?
For real
Farm Works a treat and is very cheap to build so great for early game to. 😊
Does it have to be fletching tables or can it be any work station?
Any work stations can work
That one kitten trying to avoid death : *HELP MEE HELP HELPP PLEASE I DONT WANT TO DROP MY STRINGSS HEEEEEEELPPPPPP*
Anyone know why the iron golems won’t spawn? They did for a bit and gave a few stacks, then stopped
Oh idk then
Did the villagers die?
Or are the iron golems spawning some where else
Same trouble here. Did you kill some golden once?
I keep having the same problem this is the second farm I’ve made
This is legit. Very efficient farm thank you so much🙏🏻👍🏻
I have made it correctly and appropriately, but why doesn't a single Iron Golem appear, I got villagers from healing zombie villagers,
Were they from a village? Or did they spawn randomly? I've heard there's a issue with these farms when they don't assign a bed, so you have to break their previous bed. The problem is finding said bed.
Very helpful thanks. Works amazingly in bedrock 👍
Isn't working I followed all the steps
We're using this farm, but bedrock villagers are... Difficult. 75% of the villagers need to have worked the previous day so if 6 link to a job block outside the farm it will fail. It's best to not put any job blocks, beds, or bells with in 100 block radius. *Look up village rules on the wiki it explains village rules.
Using a job block you would never use, and making one trade to lock them in is a safe way to reduce headaches
Mine work
Thank you brother the only farm worked for me a life saver
Useful tip add a campfire instead of hopper
And the hopper beneath it .
Free string + free iron
Can you make an underground version of this? I would really appreciate it thank you
Yes it worked for me
Yooo this workes in 5 min i got 35 iron Imagine in 1 hour also im on bedrock and ps4 it works very very good lots of cats though.👍🏾
just a question, i've heard villagers need to be "scared" to produce iron golems. Is this different or did something change since the last update?
That's how villager farms work in java, because there's a mechanic in java where if villagers get scared by zombies they will try to summon an iron golem which what makes the iron farm work, but because there's no mechanic like that in bedrock you have to do this method instead.
@@SSerrotoninappreciate it bro still new to pc so didn't realize i was watching java and playing bedrock lmao
@@calebbobo3978 damn, that's nice to hear no problem
Farm works really well for me I've some other in the past and they have never work but this one work great thanks man
My villagers didn't sleep is that normal?
Ik this is a bit late but yes@@Yuan.Edits.
Please reply. I had built it but problem is iron golem spawn outside farm
So i placed about 15-20 stacks leaves around farm becoz they were spawning even on 1 normal dirt block.
First time I also had this problem bro, but after sometime it went back to normal cuz I added a hell lot a leaves so maybe u need to add more leaves IDK, but it will work
Weird
@@apegaming26na bro. I broke 7 shears for getting leaves. You can understand how many leaves I placed. It was far more than any youtube video I seen for fixing iron farm
add 7x7 slabs or shovel into the ground
Just build sweet Rufus Iron farm
Tysm worked amazing
Can you make the most efficient bedrock iron farm?
This is the most easy and efficient. The java ones are more easy and more efficient than the bedrock farms because you just need 3 villagers and a zombie to scare them to spawn golems. But in bedrock u at least need 20 villagers with jobs gossiping to spawn golems.
@@muhammadfahad4534 i mean like the most efficient one not the easy one if there's one
@@MrZacOFC I don't think so, you could search up another RUclipsr or just make this farm over and over agaim
@@MrZacOFCsearch prowl8413 for that infor
Bro there is a method called stacking it will produce tons of iron almost 1250+ search on RUclips it will work I
You earned a subscriber for your iron farm
Keep it up ❤🎉
WOW! IT WORKS SO WELL! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
You can also make a special attachment to kill cats, so it’s also a string farm
This farm reall works vey good. Ive been trying to find farms which actually work but most of them are for java or not working.
The last couple days I’ve been testing iron farms and this is the only one that has workee
Thank you so much because i ve tried almost 20 and all of those were not working but this is fantabalous thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much
Ir works so good and its my 4th or 5th iron farm and it's the only one which worked perfectly
IRON! this farm is so effective thanks
this actually works, tysm!!!
I love your vids! Please more!❤
I need iron for a auto smelter so This is gonna help so much!
Tip:- instead of putting 2 block while putting bed put 1 block in front, it will be easy to break.
thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for this farm oink oink
tysm dude i love ur farms
Built it and it worked perfectly until last night. Golems just stopped spawning broke everything down and built it back up but golems still wont spawn
Tip: you dont need to move your villagers 150 blocks away from the village, just remove every workstation and beds in the village and it works absolutely fine.
Thanks this was really helpful!
I built the farm 100 block far and it works we with no issue❤
Bro you are the best it works also I tried a similar farm from another creator and it didn't even worked I can oy trust you bruh
It Works on PS5, thank you very much.
Farm works great. Thankyou
