The Raid 2 (2014): Jakarta gang lord Andi is kidnapped and executed by another criminal named Bejo shortly after assisting his brother, Rama, in taking down his boss in the previous film. Meanwhile, Rama takes his injured squadmate Bowo and his corrupt boss, Lt. Wahyu, to meet with Lt. Bunawar, the leader of an internal investigative section. Bunawar sends Bowo away for treatment and has Wahyu assassinated under the guise of protecting Rama from other corrupt cops, and asks Rama to assist him in exposing police chief Reza's corrupt contacts with the Bangun and Goto crime syndicates. Rama first refuses, but after learning of Andi's death, he agrees. Bunawar assigns Rama the responsibility of infiltrating Bangun's organisation undercover, as well as gaining the trust of Bangun's son Uco, who is now imprisoned.
