For anyone wondering, I think the “face” may be the little white dot on the horizon. It looks like a star at first glance, but it stays on one hill and he keeps it vaguely in the middle of the screen.
@@Caracalcrochetclub 6:52 seems to be when he realizes it at first and it’s mostly in the middle, 8:11 he has another time where he takes a look at it and it’s a little to the left, and when he looks a little to the left of the console you should be able to see it. It’s kind of sitting on a hill in the distance. It’s easier to see after 8:11, but he doesn’t look at it as often.
Hi guys so update. I downloaded the game myself to play after watching your video! I played it normally once, but the second time I walked off towards one of the faces in the hills instead of the objective. As I approached, unable to see it above the rubble field I was scaling, I was physically shaking. Rounding the hill, I discovered that it was a 2d sprite of a creepy face lodged in the ground, no other ending. I walked into its mouth and nothing. It is my personal fan theory that the aliens saw us land on the moon for the first time and decided to install creepy face billboards over the hills to mess with us. They aren’t bad, just goofy little dudes.
Literally love this guy. He makes great commentary, can analyze entire stories from the games and fits it in one youtube short, he plays unheard of games from small creators, and overall makes everyone feel valid and welcome. Thank you so much, please keep going. 🎉

No I saw the faces immediately. They look like title towers @ 6:46. There’s 4. One towards the left of the hill in the center, and 3 closer to the middle of the hill.

I feel like nobody on the first landing saw faces because they were the ones to alert whatever is on the moon, but every landing after angered whatever it is more and more.

It’s not only you not seeing it, there are faces indeed but you can’t see them due to the resolution Turn up to 2k or 1k and you should see some white oval faces with some alien black eyes He doesn’t hallucinate, neither do all of others that can see them It’s just that you and mostly everyone (MOSTLY) did not turn up the resolution from 408p

Im not sure if you have played this game before but its a horror game called “cave crawler” where you play as a small cave crawling robot searching for the corpses of cave crawlers in a huge cave/tunnel system and I think it would be great both as a video but it would also fit amazingly in a shorts video
People say being in the forest at night or in abandoned buildings is scary. Well seeing something terrifying in a place like the moon imo is far worse. Your in an environment that you can’t survive in without equipment there is nowhere to run or hide and you are surrounded by an endless black expanse of space. I can’t imagine how vulnerable and frightening it would feel being so exposed and vulnerable in front of something like that.

i am watching this on the smallest screen known to man. my hot tip for other ppl is to crank up the quality insaneo style. the faces are the white dots on the horizon. with enough quality, you can see two littttttlle black dots on either side of the white dot that are the eyes. hope this helsps!

It's interesting that fear of spaces it the same on the moon, in the ocean, in the deserts. And it can all be boiled down to "something might get me" in each space the directions change but we crave the feeling of a wall behind us so nothing can "get me" from that direction. I have thalassophobia in deeper waters for that very reason.
