I thrift in my old neighborhood they have more high end finds especially at Salvation Army... every Wednesday all clothing is 50% off ... yes I wait until Wednesday’s to do my thrifting 😂 thanks for the tips
This video was so helpful! I have times when I wanna go thrifting, but I have no idea what I'm looking for so I end up giving up. This definitely gave me some inspiration as a short plus size girl because I can always get things tailored and I never really thought about that before. By the way, the suit, menswear pants, navy blazer, and black silk top were my faves! 👌🏾
Great video! You gravitate to the same kind of items I do when thrifting. The cheapness in me, is that I do not plan on paying someone else to alter anything for me so I better have an idea to make it work. Love the men suits. The first one you showed that was cut into Bermuda shorts was a good save and quick thinking. I might have past it by depending on cost and where the stain was located and what it was. The blazer it itself is worth it. Tee Hee I don't think I follow all of your tips except for sizes is just a # (vintage tend to run smaller) and trying it on and keeping an open mind. I also have an additional one and that is there is no reason to limit yourself to the season when thrifting. If you find a great coat and it 100 degrees outside you better snatch it up, come winter you will be styling like a boss. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you in the days to come.

Hey goodwill bins in queens by LaGuardia college has super cheap thrift. But it does get crowded n you have to dig things are in bins. Not on hangers . I find name brands all the time

mireya maciel my biggest issue that I think I’ve solved! I use brassy bra (when tape is the only option) those sticky not strap/ backless bra I have one in a E cup- got it from fashionnova and of course a really good strapless bra. I find these three tools allow me to wear pretty much everything.

I always make a list when I go thrifting but the minute I get there the list magically disappear and I am like a kid in a candy store I want everything I can literally spend the whole day thrifting 🤣🤣🤣

Good tip is the thrift in high end neighborhoods, you’ll be amazed at the finds on luxury items.
I can attest to that. I used to stay in the 'burbs and thrifted cashmere coats from Lord and Taylor, silks and leather. All the goodies!
