You're very pretty, nice to see dark skinned women out here shining! Liked your video :) Just some things I thought about while you were talking... Jeans are hard to elevate. Bad quality jeans are an easy tell, if you are in the right crowd. Jeans fit well if they are made well, and if they are your size + tailored. That said, sticking to trousers in neutral tones (that way they go with everything) makes you look very put together, but still casual. Love your choice in shoes, good options! Handbags and shoes ARE the standard, so spending a little more on shoes and handbags is never a bad move. In winter, bad coats are easy to spot so spending a little more on that makes sense. You don't have to get designer jewelry I think, not a big deal. I recommend Etsy to people because you can get handcrafted and nice looking jewelry for good prices. It's a great way to show personality, makes you a little unique. BUT a nice watch is a must. Just one high end watch is all that is needed. Maybe one pair of nice studs too. Less is always more, inconspicuous is always better. My last tip is definitely hygiene. The best way to look high end is by keeping your nails short and well manicured, polished if you can do it yourself. White looks amazing on you!

I choose jewel tones in classic fabrics and styles like you said in your video. I add unique accessories if I can. If you can't pin point what trend or year it is from, it is hard to date it and therefore one may assume it is expensive. I choose sturdy bags in either classic or unique shapes. I have a mix of affordable and mid-range luxury and no one can tell the difference. Also for jewelry, I find mix my costume with my real jewelry (just a preference). Though I find earrings with posts instead of fish hooks look more expensive, so I go for those. Lastly, you can really score what would have super expensive pieces at thrift stores, so I always pop in there. SN. Why was the blazer controversial? I like the look!
