Thanks for the tips, Jenee Naylor! Tailoring your clothing is the game changer. I am petite and curvy and have been all my life. Having a tailor is a necessity - like a good mechanic, hair stylist/barber, and primary care physician. And the tip "think about uniforms" for occasions - eye opening tip !!! Again, thank you !!

Hey girl heyyyyy, I finally found a tailor in my neighborhood and am super excited. The funny thing, she moved from my old area to where I am now! She used to make prom/wedding dresses. This is definitely a super excellent style tip! Accessories are my thanggg lolololol and nothing like a red lip (if you like a red lip). I keep one in my bag if I get a last-minute invite. It amps up the outfit as well.TFS queen:-)

Growing up in Jamica, my Stepmother always had dresses & clothes made for me and my sister, by a seamstress. We bought jeans or shorts or T-shirts but for the rest of our clothes she'd make them for us. It makes such a difference. I have a very short torso as well. In off-the-rack dresses go up a size if you are short waisted, you'll be happily surprised. The waist will fit at the right place.
Also if you have a large bust or hip, buy the item that fits on the biggest part of your body then have it taken in by your tailor.
Can you do a what to wear for an adult early evening summer backyard gathering that will consist of games and you're the hostess? Thanks in advance!

I love that your content is different each time.
I am in a funk. Working from home. Stretch pants. Black. And tshirts. I did recently get some tropical pants but I’m not really feeling them. I also got a zebra shirt set from h&m- trying to incorporate color. And just got your haircut. It was a big chop.

The tailoring is a game changer! I loveeee the Sleeper Feather Sets however, they are cut small. So I sized up took the top to the tailor and had her take in the waist, take in the arm width and the sleeves length OMG it’s sooo good!! And it only cost me $22!
I actually went through my closet 2 weeks ago! And decided let's get them tailored.

I have a box of items that I need to tailor and I just got to do it. I am a thrifter so there mending and alterations or flips, that are in a box that I need to work through. Dang! I forgot the assignment of planning looks for different occasions you shared sometime back because I still find myself stump the day of. Yeah, that mental thing not going to work, I will actually need to even take pictures of them or have them on the same hanger, the panic is just that bad. There was a lot of information here, so I better get a notepad/pen and take notes. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.

I have clothes. I can no longer wear heels so I have a problem finding nice shoes.
I don’t want to wear heels anymore. I live in Boston so in the summer it’s easy to wear flat sandals. In the winter i wear more jeans and flat ankle boots.
