I really love a lot of the music in sf 5. There are exceptions cough juri but overall its got some great great music. London, waterfall, and ryu theme are some of the best themes they have done.
Gouki's stage theme is a favorite of mine

I’m loving the modern progressive rock style for a good chunk of SFV’s music.
Neoxon I hope they do more tracks like this one for a couple of the incoming characters. I would love to hear Cody's theme go progressive metal this time.
ChidoriSnake I feel like Cody would be the best candidate for that. Maybe Falke as well, but I’d imagine that they’ll continue the Hip-Hop/Rap style for the Neo-Shadaloo characters.

Yo the original main menu was already kind of progressive with the djent guitar but this one is like fucking using weird tempo signatures and shit great theme.
Its pretty fuckin Periphery man. Which is djent as fuck with metalcore/mathcore influence.

I looked up this djent genre you mentioned and i hated it, sounds nothing like this song

I've listened to prog rock beofre and i quite like it but is usually old or heavily inspired in old songs. I was interested in how this song sounded much more modern yet it hit me in the same spots but i guess i'm not really into metal at all.

You can got to sound settings and set this theme (as well as any other in the game) as your main menu theme, by default the cinematic theme plays followed by this one and it loops back, you can create your own playlist for the menu.

It should be the first or second song you hear in the menu on SFV Arcade Edition. I don't think it's on the base SFV game.
