It's also one of the only great tracks in this game sadly. Most of the music in this game isnt that memorable. The main menu theme of all things is excellent.
I’m here after SF6 announcement. For some reason I wanted to come here and listen to this particular theme, something about it feels like it’s the end of something! Even though SFV wasn’t particularly the best it sure is one of my favorite games and I will miss it!
It was one hell of a ride, but admittedly it's pretty fun now despite the abysmal launch. Definitely looking forward to the final Capcom Cup as well as SF6.

Listening to this music while getting pumped up to pass my exams in college. Such a time. I haven’t got a chance to play the game a lot but it just sounds so bad ass and fulfilling listening to this
Street fighter 5 may not be remembered for it's gameplay, it's story or even it's characters. But this theme....whenever I think of what Street Fighter is, I'll always hear this theme.
+Lubie225 That means he likes it. Daisuke Ishiwatari does the GG soundtracks. Also, this track is hugely inspired by Djent. Which is a huge surprise to hear Capcom play that kind of stuff on their SFV OST. I was expecting a lot more wub wubs / classic theme remixes. But so far SFV's OST has been a mixed bag of: some of the best SF2 remixes ever made (Ken Theme), fantastic new themes in old 90s / early 2000s jazz fusion style (Karin), or the usual underwhelming wub wub filled electronic stuff (Bison theme). And then surprisingly good left-field tracks like this one. Very weird OST so far. Seems to be entirely different artists doing each track almost.
Richard Hoelscher The sound is a bit cleaner if you were to rip the song in proper quality. Like booting up the beta by yourself and listening on headphones, or waiting for a proper quality rip of it.
That's the absolute finale for the main solo. I love it when artists add in those absolutely heavy progressive metal parts to work on the main melody of the theme before they conclude it and I really love it.
1:56 I can't help but feel like this first pair of short drum riffs have something in common with the sound of button hits on a fight stick during combos.
I'm a big fan of SF4, I've finished all the storylines and listened to the soundtrack many times. In sf6, I liked everything except the soundtrack. And so I came across the sf5 ost. Damn it, that's the kind of aggressive music I lacked during fights. You feel an uncontrollable energy raging inside you, you are ready to fight to the end.
I just LOVE this theme. Thanks to who created it. The intro turns me from 0 to 10 EASILY. And remind that it's from a game I play since the 90's gives me only the good nistalgic feelings.
I had a friend who was like myself besotted with fighting games. We would play USFIV and GGAC online time and time again. Unfortunately he passed away in 2017 owing to an electric shock. I miss him immensely and I am convinced that I will never be able to find such a majestic fighting game partner and a fabulous friend as himself.
