Good job the rigs. I don't have much luck for surf perch at Westport just razor clam, but looks like you did good.

Some days are better than others for me. I usually have better luck North by Moclips or so. I haven't been zeroed but sometimes have to work at it.

I have a 11ft MH rod that handles 1-6 oz. Do you think thats too big of a rod?

It might be fine. It depends on if you can feel the bite which is pretty easy since they're usually not shy and hit good

Definitely these tips will work there on those fish. I have done some surf fishing in California and this would be my same setup there. Take some tips from a few people and apply what you like, then adapt your own methods and ideas. Good luck out there
