Ian defended both Kat and the actor for Enzo so since Julie was forced to keep them both and needed an SO for Bonnie she put them together. Hosie won’t happen the ship was likely never meant to be a serious thing. Due the vocal support of the actresses it became bigger than anticipated. Danielle said that they created a monster with this ship. They were pretty much physically and narratively separated this season. It’s only recent that they’ve gotten more storylines together but Lizzie is usually a part of those storylines. So it feels like a deliberate ploy by the writers to push the 3 girls as “sisters” or familial. It started because Danielle and kaylee pushed for it because they thought it would be cool to have a lead female who was sexually fluid (which is a great thing) so the writers included it so now the crush makes people romanticize everything they do like hug. On their Instagram lives they said they didn’t want hosie to happen if it didn’t make sense in 2018 Danielle and kaylee said they want hosie to be endgame now you barely see them mentioning hosie. They just say “sure I support it if it happen” kaylee says she just wants any wlw representation Danielle says she’s down for whatever makes sense.
I think hope and clarke can be together because in TVD Elena was with the cool brother so Stefan and she ending with the evil one so Damon, for me they can be in relationship, cause Legacies makes a lot parallels with TVD, so hope it will be like that !
